Megane was incredibly helpful, warm and friendly throughout the entire experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying here — it’s something guests should absolutely make the most of!

We stayed here for 6 nights after a Safari in Botswana and Namibia. This was our 9th hotel for our trip, after 18 flights and we were ready to relax! this was the perfect place! checking in was very easy - the front desk staff are all amazing. Jason and Elodie always greeted you with a smile and such kindness! Our room was clean and bright (room 164) and great location close to the spa, the gym, the beach, the bar - everything! The only thing with the rooms - at dusk there are tiny bugs that appear in the bathroom by the 1000's - we had some water in a glass in the bathroom and when we came back from dinner, there were no less than 40 dead bugs in the glass - and all over the counter. the resort fogs the place at dusk for mosquitos and these bugs - so maybe they come in to get away from the fog. We discovered in night 3 that it we kept our lights off in the bathroom, no bugs! DEFINITELY helpful to know that going in, so keep the bathroom lights off from 5 pm until you get ready for bed, that helped a lot. and, this is NOT unexpected in the tropics, the hotel deals with it nicely - but maybe they can let future guests know that to help minimize them :) We met Vimla when out on our walks, and she always stopped to talk - we believe she was a manager in house keeping - an absolute delight! we were having trouble with our remote control for the TV (could change channels and volume, but could not turn the tv off ...); Vimla was quick to help with that! and as we left, she came to our room with a lovely send off gift! we did the full board all inclusive - we are not fancy eaters, but love good quality food, and this resort did not disappoint. the buffets were fabulous - the food was so fresh and they had incredible chefs taking care of the buffets so they were always tidy and with fresh food. they do have the two fancier restaurants, but we were happy with the Beach restaurant and Kitchen restaurant. the staff at the Kitchen were so lovely. Preetam took care of us our first night, and for many of our meals, and we so enjoyed him! We also spent time with Jai, Alain (gave us a hug each day), Eva, Tils, Eloise (who always knew our coffee order and room number each day). we loved having a night cap at the bar after dinner - and Chris is second to none - his creative cocktails are a work of art! Sabrina was also excellent! and honestly, the whole bar team were really outstanding - Aniket, and Harvind were also so kind and fabulous! the spa was lovely - you can use the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi as much as you like. we had a couples massage for 2 hours with Ketut and Komang which was just fantastic!! completely worth doing! Rushka and Hossain, who saw us off, were so incredibly generous with bottles of water and such warmth!! I know there are more people that we spoke with - but suffice it to say, the HR group and managers here have created an excellent team who are incredible ambassadors! the location of the hotel was great as well - we hired one of the hotel Taxi drivers to take us around for 2 days - Ramsamy - he was such a delight! it is also worth going to the UNESCO site of LeMorne mountain - a very powerful history all in all, we LOVED Mauritius, and this hotel was just fabulous!

We had a wonderful experience! Fayaz provided exceptional service and made us feel very welcome. The view was beautiful, and the shisha was perfectly prepared and really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We chose this hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, and after 13 days here, we can honestly say that we will leave with an incredibly warm heart and many beautiful memories. At the beginning of our stay, we had a few small issues with our room. However, manager Anne handled everything within just a few hours and even arranged a new room for us. We are extremely grateful for how quickly and kindly she solved the situation and made sure that we were comfortable. The room service was absolutely outstanding. Our minibar was always replenished, the room was beautifully cleaned, and we always had fresh towels. What impressed us even more was that the room was serviced twice a day. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated in the tropical climate. Despite being surrounded by tropical nature and all its little inhabitants, we only had a couple of tiny insect visitors during our entire 13 day stay, which honestly surprised us. The location is simply a dream. The hotel is right on the beach, so you can walk out of the hotel and be at the ocean almost immediately. The water is full of beautiful fish and coral, making snorkelling right in front of the hotel an incredible experience. Just be careful with triggerfish, as they can bite. I would also strongly recommend bringing water shoes, as there are many sea urchins, sea cucumbers and crabs in the water. They are wonderful to see, but stepping on them can hurt both you and the animal. One of our favourite highlights was the flying foxes. There are so many of them around the hotel in the evenings, and having dinner while watching them fly above the trees was something truly magical. Something that deserves a special mention for me is the way the staff and guests treat the animals around the hotel. There are several stray cats living here, and they are treated with such kindness and affection. They feel like little local residents of the hotel. The birds are also welcomed and happily enjoy fresh bread in the mornings. Seeing everyone coexist so peacefully with the animals was genuinely heartwarming. And then there is the buffet. It was absolutely incredible. Every evening brought a different cuisine, with an enormous variety of dishes for every taste. The selection of desserts was something I had never experienced before. Breakfast was equally impressive, with freshly squeezed juices, a huge variety of dishes and an amazing selection of pastries. But two people deserve a very special place in our hearts. Kishan from the restaurant is one of those people who genuinely cares about making sure that you have the best possible experience during your stay. He remembers you, pays attention to the little things and makes every dinner feel special. If you are lucky enough to have Kishan looking after you, just know that you are guaranteed some of the best dinners of your stay. And our mornings would not have been the same without Abi and his amazing coffee. He made the most delicious coffee and always greeted us with such a warm and positive energy that it was the perfect way to start the day. His kindness and cheerful mood made our mornings even more enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We came here to celebrate our love, and we are leaving with beautiful memories, grateful hearts and a strong feeling that this will not be our last visit.
