I come to RIU first time I get the best experience at turquoise with Joe and ishal who served us well and give us the best experience we will not forget we will definitely come back again

What a wonderful place! As ever, the RIU family staff members are amazing! So polite, always willing ti help, fantastic people> A few of the people that stood out for us are as follows - Adult pool bar - Tushur, Sarah, Jahmel, Nikesh, Manesh and the wonderful Solomon, what a great team! Hotel lobby - Mr. Suraj from Tibet (the bell boy). What a fabulous greetin we received from him. Lobby terrace bar - the lovely Natacha, always attentive. The fabulous Joy & Faidat - the jewels in the crown from the main dining area, wonderful ladies. Rachel, Oceane and the very handsome lad (I cannot remember his name, apologies) - the adult pool entertainments team, great guys! Alex the Chef - great guy, always there to help. There are so many other people that were brilliant, too many to mention. Food - the a la carte restaurants are really good, especially Krystal. Again all with great staff. One small moan though.....the food in the dining rea could be served hotter. lots of it an great variety, just not hot enough. All in all a wonderful vacation to a great hotel, thank you Mauritius. Very disappointing experience at RIU Palace I booked a 2-day all-inclusive package at RIU Palace to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, the security asked me to park my car on the side of the main road because the hotel parking was full. It was my first time staying at RIU, and I informed the receptionist during check-in. However, nobody properly explained the hotel facilities, restaurants, pools, or where everything was located. The biggest problem was the room. About one hour after checking in, I informed reception that the room was extremely hot because the air conditioning was not working. I was told that the technician was working on it and that it would be fixed. At around 22:00, the room was still boiling hot. I contacted reception again and was told that the maintenance team would come and check it. I waited for around an hour, but nobody came. I then personally went to reception, where I was told that the air conditioning had actually not been working since the morning and would only be fixed the following morning. I asked for another room, as it was impossible to sleep in such conditions, but they did not provide one. As a result, I had no choice but to check out at around 23:30, despite booking a 2-day all-inclusive stay. Mr Owen, the supervisor, told me that they would deduct the price of one day’s stay. Personally, I do not feel this is fair compensation considering that I could not properly use the room or enjoy the stay I had paid for. What makes this even more disappointing is that this was supposed to be a special celebration for our first wedding anniversary. I expected much better service and customer care from RIU Palace. The way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing, especially when the hotel already knew about the air-conditioning problem. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and reviews how situations like this are handled in the future. its not fair......

We got married on this beautiful island we had a amazing wedding and a magical experience , But the biggest thank you and gratitude goes to Shawn the photographer , worth every penny and captured our day outstanding, we can't thank you enough ❤️📸🙏highly recommend. (Trips I recommend the helicopter) What a experience!

Our stay at RIU Palace was truly wonderful. The name says “Palace,” and it really does feel like one from the moment you arrive. The food was absolutely delicious, with so much variety and great quality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. Everything made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. A beautiful experience that we would happily recommend! ❤️
