This was our second time here. If feels like coming home tona family of beautiful and kind staff. Excellent food (many keto Options too), quiet and dignified environment in a balanced communion with nature. A particular thank you to Alan from guest services for his kindness and attention .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Akumal Bay Resort and Wellness Spa! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, peaceful, and genuinely personalized. The views were absolutely amazing, and one of the things we loved most was how quiet and relaxing the resort was. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and truly disconnect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff were truly exceptional. A special shoutout to ALAN from Public Relations, who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon extra special. We were so touched by the room upgrade they provided for our honeymoon, as well as the personalized dinner they arranged for us. These thoughtful gestures made our stay incredibly memorable. There are also so many wonderful activities to enjoy. We loved that the resort offers yoga classes, tennis, painting activities, snorkeling gear for an hour each day, and a paddleboard experience. There was always something fun to do, while still having plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Room service was excellent, and every staff member we encountered was always smiling, kind, and eager to help. It never felt like just another resort stay — it truly felt like a personalized experience where the staff genuinely cared about making our time special. 💜💛 Thank you to the entire team, and especially Alan, for making our honeymoon so beautiful and memorable. The incredible views, peaceful atmosphere, wonderful activities, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality made this a truly special stay. We would absolutely recommend Akumal Bay Resort and Wellness Spa and would love to return! ❤️

We have been visiting Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness Resort for years. We highly recommend this resort for a vacation. Everything was wonderful during our stay including the staff, rooms, food, pools, entertainment. We had a little bit of trouble getting into restaurants for dinner, but we had a larger group and I don’t think a smaller group would have this issue. The resort is doing a good job keeping up with the seaweed issue so every day we were able to go walk on the beach or swim if we wanted.

Very peaceful relaxing excellent service. Very clean

This place was an absolute Utopia! It was just what we were hoping for. Serene, peaceful and beautiful. The only downside was the seaweed which we knew beforehand might be an issue (which is beyond their control). We brought our own snorkel gear and spent hours out on our own in the water. No driving anywhere, no guided tour...no annoyances. It was perfect! Food was amazing, service was amazing and so was the low key entertainment. We are hoping to go back in the winter!
