Miguel and Jarid were very helpful keeping the kids entertained during pool days with making them do a pirate hunt.

Not only did I have an amazing trip but I got married Saturday and everything was perfect!! We had around 60 people total & everyone had a blast! The poor bar was our favorite spot to spend the day (shout out bartender Nester!!!) food was great!! We enjoyed the restaurants and of course the 24 hour coco cafe was my FAV! Also so fun being able to order room service. The slides and lazy river were also a hit!! Definitely wish they had more tubes but able to make the best of it and you can still go in lazy river without one. The zip-line too was a big hit!! The beach isn’t swimmable but with so much fun happening at the resort you don’t even notice you can’t go in the water. They work extremely hard to clean it up, out there everyday & by the weekend it looked so much better from when we first arrived! Shout out to our wedding coordinator Grace!! She was amazing! So sweet and amazing to work with! She truly made this entire experience from the planning to the setting up amazing! Our wedding was beautiful and everything we wanted! It ran so smooth and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. All our guests had a blast & the staff working that night were 10/10 hard working and friendly. Our photographer Francesco was awesome!! Sooo excited to see the photos but he was so easy to work with 📸 Also huge shout out to the MC @mems_tapia for being awesome & the DJ @djtt_official for bringing allll the fun vibes to the dance floor!! The spa (massage & hydrotherapy) were amazing!! The perfect relaxation day after the wedding - definitely worth doing it!! Everything was honestly amazing!! Had such an amazing time here 🤩 10/10 recommend!!!

We recently booked a 7-day family vacation at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa, taking up 4 rooms for a group of 11 people, including young kids. When we originally booked, the resort maintained a 4.7-star rating on Google Maps, but dropped to 4.0 by the time we traveled. Midway through our stay, WestJet Vacations emailed us notifying us they officially downgraded the hotel rating from 5 stars to 4.5 stars. After staying here, even 4 stars feels far too generous. Staff displayed complete indifference, and operations felt disorganized. THE PREFERRED CLUB UPGRADE: A WASTE OF MONEY We paid extra to upgrade our whole party to Preferred Club, but it was a total money trap. The only actual perk was the indoor lounge with AC. The exclusive Preferred Club pool was constantly crammed, lacked atmosphere, and was functionally identical to the standard pool next door, except it did not even have a real swim-up bar (they just rolled out a small bar cart). THE CONS AND FRUSTRATIONS: - Smelly Sargassum on Beach: Heavy sargassum seaweed buildup created a foul smell across the shore. Grounds crews cleaned daily, but the odor and water made the beach completely unusable. - Dreadful Food and App Nightmares: Food across the resort was shockingly bad. Honestly, the food at the Cancun Airport lounge on our way home tasted much better. Buffet selection and quantities were very limited for a hotel this size. Dinner reservations are restricted to the buggy Hyatt app for Preferred Club members only. Concierge refused to help and told us to figure it out ourselves. We only got reservations because one person in our party is a Hyatt Globalist whose butler booked our week. - Severe Housekeeping Failures: For 4 out of 7 days, our rooms were completely skipped by housekeeping without DND signs out. We complained twice at the front desk and got it cleaned once. Requesting service another day at 4:30 PM was flat-out denied because housekeeping stops working at 5:00 PM. - Apathetic Kids Club: Explorers Club staff felt inexperienced. Teachers did not ask if our 3-year-old wanted their hat/sunglasses for the beach, despite us handing those exact items to them. - High-Pressure Sales: To claim $200 coupons, a rep spent 15 mins presenting from a Spanish booklet before finding English in the back, then pushed a timeshare presentation. - Cramped Layout: Pools feel repetitive, chair game starts at dawn, no free sunscreen, and CoCo Cafe only had 3 ice cream and 3 popsicle flavors. THE PROS: - Beautiful Property: Rooms and grounds are modern and great for family photos. - Unique Activities: Lazy river, water slides, and kids waterpark were fun. Roller glider was awesome, though scale enforces a 75kg (165lbs) limit vs 80kg advertised. Climbing wall has a 150lbs limit. - Entertainment: Shows were great, but held in the hot Arts Garden due to corporate conferences. Inconsistent popcorn and no drinks served. Included 25-min massage was mixed. Breakfast smoothie station was a highlight. VERDICT: Nice rooms and slides cannot make up for terrible food, absent housekeeping, aggressive sales, and indifferent staff. Will not recommend.

But you do not come to this resort for the beach...at least not this time of year. We had Ocean View and we were hit with the sargassum smell every morning! Not so pleasant! Lol it was really bad but other than that...we loved this place!

Great experience except for the beach was full of sea grass. We had a fantastic waiter at World Cafe Gabriel Ocana he really took care of my family when we went for breakfast and he really amazing! Our server Gabriela lizama at the pool area for drinks was also very amazing very prompt and always smiling and friendly really one of the best servers in the pool area
