Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort

Excellent place for vacation !

The short version: Great service, great food, rent a cabana, see a show or two, try a new drink, and enjoy the beautiful and clean surroundings! The long version: We had visited this resort 2 years prior and things only got better! Upon arrival the staff greet you and help with luggage. Then you enter the beautiful lobby area with the gorgeous sparkling ocean view as the backdrop. It’s a wonderful greeting! After unpacking the first day we knew we wanted to reserve cabanas for the majority of our stay at the adult pool, which was the only pool at the time due to construction/updates on the others. However, don’t be alarmed, there are no pool chair wars at this location. Even with only one pool being available there were plenty of chairs in or near the pool for everyone. Monica F. helped us with the cabanas and we told her we were there to celebrate a birthday. We saw her many times throughout the stay and she was welcoming, friendly, and helpful every time. She went above and beyond for my birthday celebrations! The very first day we went to the pool we sat on the upper levels behind the pool and were immediately greeted with the biggest smile by Guillermo. He helped set up chairs, grab more towels, arranged the umbrellas to shade the chairs, and grabbed us drinks. He also went above and beyond our entire stay! Make sure you find him when you go! I highly recommend renting a cabana. The ease of having a shady place to rest, pool chairs (which were upgraded from our last visit), the outstanding service, and comfort were worth it. Some of the great staff that helped us at the cabanas/pool were, Guillermo (of course), Edson, Ariana, Pablo, and Ricardo. A quick mention about the app/website they give you upon check in. It’s so easy to make reservations, check your reservations, see what’s going on during the day, night, and see restaurant information. I found it very helpful! On the day of my birthday Monica helped to make the day so special! Our cabana was decorated with balloons and a sign, the staff sang to me at the cabana with a dessert, there was a treat delivered to my room, and Chef Salvadore sang thee most beautiful opera style happy birthday to me at Auma. I felt like a queen! Food- We ate breakfast everyday at Vela. Omelet, burrito, and pancake stations were great. So many food options! For lunch we had poolside tacos with the chips and guac/pico bowl. For dinner Sunan was not available due to the construction on that side of the building but Auma, La Luce, and Maxal totally made up for it! The NY strip and filet at Auma were delicious! Truly so many delicious options at all three. We only went to dinner at Vela once and preferred to make the reservations at the restaurants. I recommend making them upon arrival if possible. The mixology table was nice to have at the pool and the restaurants to try a new or different drink. The service at the restaurants was also fabulous- Natalia, Ignacio, Silverio, Marco, Israel, Ricardo, and Johnaton at the restaurants and at Vela we loved seeing Eduardo, Alex, Julio, Alain, Nin, and Felipe. We also met Oscar R. the food and beverage manager who was welcoming, accommodating, and so friendly! We ran into him many times and he always had a big smile on his face. And don’t forget to hit up La Churrería for your sweet treat needs! Our favorites were the twist ice cream cones and churros! Entertainment- We really enjoyed the nightly trips to the amphitheater while we were there. The Latin, Mexican, retro, and decades shows were very entertaining! We saw part of the Havana night prior to leaving and wished we could’ve listened to more. We enjoyed the live music! One of the nights La Luce had three women singing Mariachi. They were wonderful- I could’ve listened to them all night! We also enjoyed the women dressed up as Caterina in the lobby! Our room- Very spacious, lots of room to unpack if you’d like. There was a very large closet with a safe, light and full length mirror. The shower was also large. The hand held shower head had great water pressure for washing hair and I switched to the overhead rainwater when not. Nice to have both options. Lots of areas for plugging things in. We loved the in-room refrigerator that was restocked daily with cans of soda, cans of water, beer, and other options. We “exchanged” the ocean view this trip for more cabana time, so our room was on the Habitación side and we heard constant travel in and out throughout the night with the backup sounds of trucks and vehicles and occasionally honking. I’d recommend earplugs. The entire resort is kept so clean/pristine all the time! Only negatives are the pool tiles are falling out or replaced haphazardly, which, from what I understand, is being worked on in stages as we speak. The ocean is not crystal clear, we knew what we were getting in to prior to our arrival, and they do a great job cleaning the sargassum. These two things certainly did not stop us, and many others, from enjoying the pool and the ocean! At the end of the day, it’s the memories and the people who make a stay truly special, and this trip gave us plenty of both. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience. We left feeling genuinely cared for, relaxed, and are already looking forward to the next time we can return!

Hilton was, for sure, one of the most amazing experiences we had in Cancún, from the beautiful environment and entertainment to the incredible food and outstanding service. Monica welcomed us with a wonderful smile, explained all the activities available, and made sure we felt at home from the very beginning. I also have to mention Noe, the bellman, who took care of our luggage and our car. Every single time we needed something, he was incredibly helpful, quick, and a true gentleman. And Diego from the entertainment team deserves a special mention! He is amazing. The shows, the energy, and the atmosphere he and the team created made our stay even more memorable. So, to sum it up: JUST GO TO HILTON. You won’t regret it! The rooms are brand new, there’s entertainment for both kids and adults throughout the day, and the location is great for visiting Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and nearby outlets. Definitely a perfect choice for a stay in Cancún. We loved it! ❤️

The service was impeccable and everyone made us feel special. From the moment we stepped out of our shuttle, we were greeted with smiles and tasty drinks. Amerykah made sure to take our bags and make us comfortable while we waited to check in. We were offered an upgrade to a high floor with an ocean view, but opted for the swim up suite. Our room was serviced at least twice each day and our mini fridge was stuffed with lots of goodies. By far having access to our own pool made the experience extra special. My favorite part was watching the sun creep out of the ocean each morning. The mimosas and delicious room service certainly helped too. There are lots of food options at the resort and each restaurant has something special to offer. My favorite by far was Auma - Chef Aldo runs a tight ship and delivered a memorable meal each time. Angel, our waiter, always kept our drinks full and was very kind. We were surprised with lobster tails on our last night and left with the biggest smiles and fullest bellies. We had a lot of fun at the pool, participating in the different day and nighttime activities, and enjoyed the beautiful amenities. I want to thank David, Aylin and Amerykah from the concierge team for all of their hard work and dedication. We will definitely be coming back!
