Ocean Riviera Paradise

Ocean riviera resort was awesome. The only major drawback was of course the beach due to the sargassum and the small area of actual beach but we were still able to enjoy the ocean several times during our weeks stay. The only other drawback were some of the restaurants weren’t open as per the app schedule which meant we had to change our plans. We travelled with a guest with a peanut allergy and myself sensitive to gluten, we were welcomed and supported and ate safely. The el beso pool entertainment staff Oswaldo and William were awesome entertaining the crowd!! Will definitely be back.

What an incredible hotel. Overall, I can say the service is very good. I’d like to give a special mention to Gregorio, the person in Family Lounge; he was a kind person who was always attentive to my needs.

Love this resort! I’m a premium member and the service we received was great! Our butler Pool is awesome. My daughter loved the jelly club! Daniela and Ana are super helpful and sweet! Everyone is so welcoming!

The Positives: I want to start by highlighting the exceptional staff members who truly made our stay enjoyable. Our mayordomo, Antonio Pool, our privilege poolside waitress, Amairani, and our bartender, Santiago, were all excellent. Their outstanding service was the highlight of our trip. The Negatives: Unfortunately, the property itself and the management fell incredibly short. Outdated Facilities: The resort is in dire need of major renovations and updates. Lacking Amenities: There is absolutely no beach at this property, and upgrading to "Privilege" status is definitely not worth the extra cost. Rude Staff: While some staff were great, many others were outright rude and unhelpful. Serious Security Concerns: The worst part of our experience involved a major security incident. A family member’s tablet disappeared directly from their room. Instead of offering a helpful solution or reimbursement, hotel security insinuated that someone in our own traveling party might have stolen it. They even suggested searching all of our family's rooms. The resort’s accusatory response and complete lack of accountability were unacceptable. I will never book another stay with any Ocean resort property again.
