Hotel Sato

Our stay at the Palas Hotel turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. Upon arrival, we were assigned a dirty room that smelled terrible; the shower drain wasn’t draining at all, so within a short time, water was everywhere. The dirty sheets and the broken air conditioner in the room only added to our frustration. So we decided to go to the front desk and ask for a room change. We were assigned a room where the Wi-Fi and the shower drain actually worked, and overall, the new room seemed cleaner and better. However, the ubiquitous mold in the shower stall (see photo) brought back our initial feelings of unease. When we decided to go to the pool, we were astonished to find that the mold and pervasive dirt were present there as well. The staff sitting on the outdoor seating areas, engrossed in their mobile devices, also did nothing to make us feel comfortable. The worst part was the indoor children’s pool, which was in a disastrous condition and completely covered in mold (see photo). We have never before been so disgusted by a stay. As compensation for this unpleasant problem, we request a refund, which would at least partially make up for our disappointment with the stay and the wasted time at this so-called “luxury hotel”

I am 9th time in Palas hotel. Defenetly the most beautiful old hotel on the beach front of city Petrovac (Montenegro). I feel like home, it reminds me on time when the world had old values. They moderate it in last years on very special way, Guys, food is absolutely delicious. Such a vairetis of fresh fish, meat, fruts and sweets. Each time a new surprice on the table. Stuff, so kind and generous. Everyone smiling , from reception, spa, pool bar...very nice and polite. Any time helpfull. Rooms are clean, Air conditioning all the time. Please don't skip dining on the beautiful terrase. The best reccomendations for Hotel Palas. I am 9th time here, and I wish never leave. If you pick this one, you will fully enyoj your vacation.

The situation of the hotel is a delight. Reception staff unwelcoming unsmiling and appear disinterested. Cleaning staff a delight, always say good morning or hello and ask if anything we need. Bar staff friendly and engaging. We were assured the hotel would offer vegan dishes at meal times. Whilst meat eaters had five choices each sitting there was not a single vegan or vegetarian choice. Our holiday rep took this up with the chef to no avail and only the intervention of the General Manager got us an option two days before we left.

Hotel position is very good facing the sea. Rooms comfortable although balcony doors need maintenance as Excremly difficult to open Food ‘beige ‘ repeating same menu each week.as with most european food just warm, never hot. Just along the promanard the friendliest cafe with wonderful food , you must visit them.

Just returned today from a week at this hotel. We had a really great holiday. We went with SAGA and our rep was Dragon he was absolutely brilliant. My only criticism was the food could have been a bit better but for the price for a week I am certainly not complaining. Overall a brilliant holiday
