Vivid Blue Serenity Resort

The most relaxing holiday in a beautiful place. We could not fault the hotel, the food or the staff. Our room had everything you could need or expect with a balcony overlooking the pool. The infinity pool was perfect and there were always sun loungers available. The view of the sea and the mountains was stunning and as for the sunsets; heavenly. The food in the restaurant we felt was delicious with plenty of options available, we also enjoyed the barbecue night. We took the free transport to the beach and used the fix priced taxi to visit Budva Old Town which is full of narrow walk ways and gorgeous views. If wanting to travel further afield, yes, a car would be necessary and yes there is building work in the surrounding area; it’s an up and coming tourist spot but it didn’t disturb the experience. This was a little bit of paradise and the most enjoyable weeks holiday. Special shout out to Lazar and Sasa (sp).

We spent 7 nights at this boutique hotel which is situated a short distance from Sveti Stefan. Our first trip to Montenegro and we quickly learned that you ideally need a car. The alternative is expensive taxis or excursions requiring a long time on board a coach. Room was comfortable and well cleaned everyday. Paint work could have done with a touch up in places but a job for out of season, I imagine. Kettle in room but just a really slim mini bar with no space to store fresh milk or your own drinks. Lovely Rituals toiletries and a reasonable hair dryer plus full length mirror. We were on half board and there are three courses with three choices. The portions are very large. As a fish lover I was very well catered for and particularly enjoyed the swordfish. Some dishes were better than others but overall good. Arrive early for breakfast as you will find that some items run out quite quickly and are not replenished. There is an a la carte menu with excellent omelettes etc. The view from the infinity pool is beautiful and the sun hits the area for most of the day. Gorgeous sunsets. Very comfortable sun loungers and we never had a problem getting one. Montenegro is a country to get you off of a sunbed as there are so many highlights. We visited Kotor and aside from the delightful old town we drove some distance around the bay. Wonderful. Sveti Stefan is in a picturesque setting but quite manicured as you would expect. It is definitely worth a visit. Petrovach is a very pretty place with a nice atmosphere and good cafes and bars. Had a fabulous three hours on the water at Lake Skadaw. Not experienced a trip like it previously. The staff are really nice and work very hard but there is a need for additional help at meal times. Violetta on reception was particularly helpful and gave us sufficient information to enable us to make informed choices on car hire and places we should visit. To summarise, we had a very enjoyable stay which was enhanced by the staff. Montenegro is a beautiful country which you can only really appreciate by travelling and making an effort to see it. There is a lot of building work going on (including alongside the hotel) but nothing was happening during our visit. In five years time I think this country will be extremely popular. Visit outside of July and August.

This was one of our favorite spots and experiences! Excellent service, beautiful hotel, sexually the pool, and the breakfast is also very nice. The location is beautiful. The whole experience lives up to the bake of the hotel. We never wanted to leave!

Amazing experience, From the reception desk warming wellcome,home feeling ambient felt all the way through.Zdravko coffee barister made nicest ever cup of coffee I enjoyed on the balcony with stunning see view.Watching sunset was breathaking...Highly recomended.

There are many positives about this hotel. there was a calmness throughout the hotel. The pool area was clean and the sun beds a very high quality. The staff are very helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good and the changes each day were noticeable. There was a menu choice for breakfast in addition to the buffet. The restaurant was reasonably priced and had a good selection of meals. The room was per advert and was kept clean by the excellent cleaning team. A contract with a local taxi company makes the taxi price reasonable The coffee machine, which was 'new this year and causing a few problems' was not good. Coffee was available from the bar but we had to pay for it.- we only found out this at check out. The distance Sveti Stefan is more than 2km and requires a car or taxi( these are expensive in Montenegro- Not the hotels fault)
