Qubus Hotel Gdansk

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The service at reception was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and reasonably comfortable, although both the room and the hotel had a somewhat retro feel and were beginning to show their age. There was an unusual and slightly unpleasant smell in the hallway, but thankfully our room was completely free of it. We stayed on the sixth floor, where the windows were quite small and positioned so high that it was difficult to enjoy the view outside. There is currently major road construction taking place around the hotel, so the surroundings are not at their best visually. However, access to the Old Town was still easy thanks to a convenient pedestrian underpass. It's also worth noting that the nearest tram stops are temporarily out of service because of the construction. Reaching the airport by public transport requires either a transfer or two, or a bit of walking. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food and a pleasant dining area, although the restaurant felt a little cramped during busy times. The hotel offers excellent value for money. I'm not sure whether the attractive price was partly due to the ongoing construction nearby, but paying around €120 per night for two people, including breakfast, felt like a great deal considering how close the hotel is to the Old Town.

Excellent hotel, the room was very spacious, no vegan options on the menu though, our fridge was broken but it was fixed very quickly, will definitely stay again.

Peaceful, clean and well located hotel. Rooms are decent size and breakfast is very good.

Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was pretty standard but good, mainly eggs, sausages, sandwich ingredients and dessert. Lots of beverages. Double room was very small and the beds & pillows were uncomfortable and it was very cold too. Also there was no shampoo & conditioner. Only 2 bottles of "soap & bodywash". Which was weird, because they did have a hair dryer. So I recommend bringing your own shampoo. Because of the room I take away 2 stars. Location is excellent, about 10 min walk to old town. Everything we needed was within a walking distance.

Very nice hotel next to the river. Breakfast was very good. Short distance to the old town.
