Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana Resort & Spa

An AMAZING vacation! I came to this resort with my husband and taught yoga every morning at 9:30am overlooking the pool! The entertainment team was amazing to work with and ensured a successful set up and take down of the yoga mats. They also provided cold waters to us on the hot days. The main pool was our favorite place to hangout and enjoy the entertainment team activities, delicious drinks, and good vibes. Our favorite part was they had a cooking team come out every day and make fresh food for everyone. Our favorite was the paella! Our favorite restaurant was the sushi restaurant and we really enjoyed the appetizers and meal option! 10/10 recommend! <3

It was our second time at Dreams Macao. Our first vacation was in the winter. This time was in summer. The only negative thing about summer was the seaweed that took over the entire beach for a couple days. Staff were deployed to clean up immediately! You can bet we will visit again.

Dreams Macao is a lovely property. Definitely great for families. Staff is friendly and helpful. There were some issues with the rooms of some of my wedding guests but it was rectified. The food is your standard all-inclusive food.

The resort was much better than we even expected. My husband and I travelled with my in-laws and our 15 month old daughter. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing. The staff were always friendly and helpful with my daughter anywhere we went. We especially loved the swim out room it was perfect for our daughter to swim in everyday. The little splashpad/kids waterpark was really cool but the water was too deep for our daughter to sit in. She loved all of the sprinklers and water buckets though! Unfortunately the beach had a lot of seaweed everyday except maybe one. It was VERY hot which was expected in August. We weren't able to do anything outdoors unless it was in the water/shade. Overall amazing experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable and kept beautifully clean throughout our stay. Our housekeeper was fantastic, the minibar service was excellent and the lovely lady who came in the evenings for the night service was always so warm and friendly. I just wish I had taken their names so I could recognise them personally. The food and drink were brilliant. There was so much choice across the buffet, restaurants, cafés and bars, and the service throughout was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and always made us feel welcome. One of the biggest highlights for us was the Explorer’s Club. As a mum travelling with my 8-year-old son, feeling confident that he was safe and happy was incredibly important. Noah absolutely loved it. He couldn’t wait to go in and often didn’t want to leave. We have been on several holidays and have never had him take to a kids’ club like this before, which says everything. A huge thank you has to go to Queen, Rainbow, Candy and Dari from the Explorer’s Club. They were absolutely amazing with Noah and made him feel safe, included and excited to go back every day. The activities were excellent and varied, but more than anything it was their warmth, care and energy that made such a difference to him and to me as his mum. The entertainment team — Baby Face, Mr Brown, Diana, Lucy, Coco, Betty Boo, Sol, Salami, Black Panther and Brazil — were another huge part of what made the holiday special. Baby Face was funny, energetic, always positive and so friendly with both me and Noah. He was fantastic with the children and they absolutely loved him. Mr Brown was always friendly, chatty and welcoming and really took the time to speak to guests. Diana was full of energy, engaging and brought such a positive atmosphere wherever she was. Lucy, Coco, Betty Boo, Sol, Salami, Black Panther and Brazil were all fantastic dancers, entertainers and gymnasts. The talent, energy and effort they brought to the shows and activities were brilliant, and collectively the whole team created such a fun, vibrant atmosphere around the resort. The daytime activities were also excellent, with everything from pool aerobics and painting hats to making Mamajuana. There was always something different happening and the team made everything fun and inclusive without ever making guests feel pressured to join in. The evening entertainment and shows were another highlight. The dancing, gymnastics and energy were fantastic and there was always a brilliant atmosphere. And then there is Macao Beach itself — absolutely beautiful. Having such a stunning beach right on the doorstep made the location even more special. What really sets Dreams Macao apart, though, is the people. From Queen, Rainbow, Candy and Dari in the Explorer’s Club to Baby Face, Mr Brown, Diana, Lucy, Coco, Betty Boo, Sol, Salami, Black Panther and Brazil in entertainment, plus the restaurant teams, bartenders, housekeeping, minibar staff and everyone else we met, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. We came home talking about the people just as much as the hotel itself, and for me that says everything. We would absolutely return. ❤️
