Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous beach and nice pools. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms and site is well maintained and clean. Our room was a beachfront with private pool. Amazing. I will only do it that way. If you have kids, rooms close to the kid zone are a good choice, but a long walk to the beach. If you don't have kids, I recommend a room closer to the ocean. The beach is protected so there was absolutely no sargassam which I feared. The ocean water was clear with no grass or seaweed.

An Unforgettable Stay at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana! Our week at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana was absolutely incredible, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff who made our vacation so memorable. From the moment we arrived, our concierge, Jencey, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We did experience an issue with our original room due to remodeling taking place next door, but Jencey handled the situation immediately and graciously moved us to an even nicer room in the Preferred section. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care truly made our stay exceptional. Our days often ended at the waterpark, which was a favorite part of the resort, and Poppa Pollo kept the fun going by mixing up amazing drinks and creating such a welcoming atmosphere. We also want to recognize the male bartender at the beach bar near the main pool and swings. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name, but he was consistently attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the week. The standout service award for our entire stay goes to Rosanna. Her hospitality was unmatched, and she consistently delivered the best service we experienced all week. She made every interaction feel personal and special. The food was fantastic throughout the resort. We loved the daily culinary experiences offered around the pool and enjoyed nearly every restaurant on property. The only restaurant we didn’t get a chance to try was the French restaurant. What we appreciated most was that every dining venue offered options suitable for all ages and tastes, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they loved. The beach was pristine and absolutely beautiful. The ocean was calm, enjoyable, and surprisingly free of seaweed. We were even told that beaches north and south of the resort were experiencing seaweed issues while Dreams Macao remained clear. Whether relaxing on the sand or enjoying the water, the beach experience was outstanding. One of the highlights of our trip was the Monkeyland excursion, which was truly unforgettable. Transportation was handled by Amstar, and they were excellent from start to finish. We had private transportation to and from the airport as well as our excursions, and they were always punctual, professional, and reliable. We also became regular visitors to Coco Café. The fresh bakery treats were delicious, the caramel macchiatos were made fresh and were absolutely amazing, and the ice cream available throughout the day and evening was a treat we looked forward to daily. Finally, a special thank you to Diana from the entertainment team. Her positive energy was contagious, and she always went out of her way to engage guests and promote the many activities available around the resort. She truly helped create a fun and lively atmosphere. Overall, Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the beautiful beach, outstanding food, excellent excursions, and most importantly the incredible staff, this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. We cannot wait to return!

Beautiful beach and some nice pools. Would not recommend preferred upgrade. Butler service was poor. Food was good particularly hibachi grill. Suggest daily activity sheets be sent to rooms nightly. Need more bilingual help ( a lot of miscommunication) , more hangers in room ( I know petty) and hooks/ rods in room/ bathroom.

We had a great experience at dreams Macau Beach. The preferred upgrade was well worth it. It granted us access to butler Domingo - super chill, helpful, we wanted for nothing.

The beach is great, the pools are nice, the Lazy River was good. The Taco Truck next to the Lazy River was fun. My grand daughter was injured badly on the circular slide, the attendant gave the signal it was clear, she went down and had a collision with another young person, splitting her lip open, requiring stitches and medical treatment off premise. The Zip Line and Climbing Wall are NOT included, a high price to use. We didn't see a single person use the Zip Line the entire time we were there. Should be an included feature, not an extra cost. At all food locations the meat is terribly over cooked.
