We stayed at the ambassador suite of the Grand Palladium Bavaro hotel with the great ocean view. In theory the room sounds great, in reality, there were quite a few things broken in the room and eventually we had to relocate to another room that was significantly better and still had some miner issues. Food was very average and uninspiring, comparing to other Palladium locations in Mexico. However, the service was very good! Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, which was a great improvement since my last visit there over 10 years ago. Very special thank you to our butlers Maritza Gutierrez and Edward, these two people have elevated our stay and have accommodated us in every way that they could. Maritza and Edward were very courteous and many times went above and beyond that we could hope for.
