We stayed in October for a few nights. We didn't expect too much from a 3 star hotel hower the Gardenia was a very pleasant surprise. The location is beach front with great views, plenty on street parking available. Nice gardens and pool areas. We stayed AI and the drinks and food were of good standard. The restaurant was modern in style and the food was always fresh with a good selection. The rooms are a little small and dated but immaculately clean. The hotel I believe is having a refurbishment in winter 26 so will try it again afterwards.

Arrived Saturday 9th may,was overcast first two days then great sunshine 👍🏽 we were on 7th floor overlooking the sea.Lifts are fine,room was okay,comfortable beds and very modern bathroom.Hot water excellent and powerful.All staff were fantastic,helpful and friendly!food is plentiful and varied the snack bar is great too! This hotel is 3star but the service /cleanliness and facilities are brilliant,definitely value for money and is highly recommended. Go out the back gate turn right and within 5mins you have some great restaurants,you won’t be disappointed with the food I can assure you.We had Indian which was authentic and reasonably priced at the 2nd one along the strip and pasta in Indi/tex which was sensational! It’s an older clientele here but don’t let that put you off everyone is friendly and it’s a great vibe.Try it you’ll enjoy it 👍🏽

Staff are friendly and hard working. Good location. Atmosphere lively and noisy. Rooms are clean but very dated furniture, cleaning Staff are excellent, shower and bathroom excellent, room walls are paper thin you can hear everything from snoring, farting, nose blowing, etc. Music and Entertainment was too Loud and was on till midnight, vibrating through the floors to the rooms, while most people are trying to talk above the music. Met a few people who were upset about the volume. Not a place if you fancy an early night after an active day. Food was poor, odd tasting almost like sweetener had been added? to things like Beans, Eggs, and some cereals. I’ve been to plenty of Hotels on the Costa del Sol and most of them finish entertainment around 10/11pm but keep bar open till midnight, or have entertainment away from the accommodation. Pool area and Sunbathing areas were clean with Staff attending to the needs of pool users it was well managed. Bar Staff friendly and efficient. I’m sure some people would put up with the noise and other moans I have experienced but first and last visit for us.

The 3 star hotel offers a clean, comfortable environment over 10 floors with working lifts. Two pools were available inside and out with sunbeds and tables/chairs for use outside. A bar was manned poolside for hot and cold beverages and games were provided by staff. The building was equipped with a varied and well stocked buffet style restaurant offering hot and cold food. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. In the evening the Victoria lounge was available for entertainment and socialising. I would recommend an all inclusive booking to ensure hot beverages were available at mealtimes as half board guests were only permitted to have water with meals. Overall I would recommend a stay here for comfort and easy access to public transport for sightseeing the local area.

Remember this is a 3 star hotel. Do not expect too much. Air con does not get switched on yet - not sure when it does but its very uncomfortable in the rooms without it. No fridge in room so its impossible to keep drinks cool in room and if you are half board you can only have water at tea time. Food is ok in terms of choice but its cold. I'd read this before I came and the hotel try to say its because you take your time eating it but believe me its not hot by any stretch. I have seen a lot of people using the microwaves to heat their food up. The chef cooks meat at the grill but never enough so there's always a wait. If im honest its some of the lowest quality meat we have had in a hotel. The location is good - pretty much at the end of the strip so quiet- takes a good hour to get to the castle. There are plenty of shops close by to get food, drink or supplies. Lots of sun beds at this time of year and it didn't feel crowded but im not sure how that would be in the summer. Wifi did not work for me and dropped out a lot for hubby. TV signal dropped out now and again in the room. Nowhere near enough lifts, especially if it was any busier. Cleaning staff and waiting staff lovely. Man on reception who I asked about air con was not friendly at all - just said "not working" when I rang, then when I went to reception he managed to add "not on this time". So its an ok stay but seriously disappointed with no air con and lukewarm food.
