Globales Gardenia

This hotel is in a great location, on the beach. It was a bargain holiday, for what we paid. Food was OK, we found something every time. Mexican night was tasty. Drinks are not topshelf, apart from beer- San Miguel, but all ok. The hotel grounds are beautifully looked after and staff were lovely. The hotel is old, you can see in the decore in rooms, beds were very comfy. No hairdryer, kettle or fridge in room. Will visit again, later in the year.

Overall good hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, lovely staff. Could always find something to eat for breakfast and lunch, great breads and salad selection. Son loved snack bar. Having read negative reviews on hot food, we ate out most nights, lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Entertainment staff did a great job. Whilst on the outskirts of resort, bus and trains nearby and lovely walk along tge front to the main part of the resort. Would definitely return for a budget friendly break.

Hotel is spotless and staff are great Rooms basic but perfectly acceptable we had top floor with a great Seaview Beds comfortable But beware the cheap plastic seat on balcony are death traps two broke with me sitting on them and I'm not fat Food although tasty for some reason only known to management is always and I mean always cold so much so that there are microwaves to heat up once plated Hotel just a short walk to the beach Would we return certainly But hopefully hot food if we do

We recently stayed at Globales Gardenia and overall had a mixed experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the surrounding area, and the hotel itself was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were a real highlight, consistently friendly, approachable, and extremely helpful. They even went out of their way to recommend alternative places to eat locally, which we really appreciated. We chose this hotel specifically because of the Globales name, having stayed at another Globales property previously and been very pleased with the experience. Based on that, we felt confident in our choice. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment and did not meet expectations. On several occasions, meals were cold and, at times, not enjoyable to eat. The hot plate station, where fresh food was prepared, never seemed equipped to handle busy periods, often lacking readiness or available options. There also appeared to be a reliance on sauces that seemed to compensate for a lack of quality meat, with many dishes consisting of minced or processed-style fillings. We understand this is a 3-star hotel, which may influence the offering, but given our previous positive experience with the brand, this aspect fell well below what we had anticipated.

Was a bit worried about this hotel but pleasantly Suprised, was concerned as it states the outdoor pool doesn’t open until May 1st but it was open and freezing as they all are. Everyone complaining about there being no hairdryer, fridge or kettle in room, we already knew this so it was no problem with us we brought our own hair dryer. Food there was plenty of variety always bare in mind if your booking a 3 Star your not getting a 5 star, food does get cold quick when your walking around trying to decide what to have but they provide a microwave. Queues were large waiting for the show cooking part maybe they should start cooking it before the opening time. Staff and entertainment crew were amazing they put on fabulous shows and kept children and adults entertained all day long. Everyone was really friendly. Would definitely go there again very clean and spotless stayed for 9 nights ate at the restaurant everyday. Local transport right be hotel. The location is on the beach which is another plus.
