AluaSun Cala Antena

We had a nice few days away recently here, the food and drinks were great,the staff were helpful. The only thing is the air conditioning is very poor, especially in the reception areas. The reviews about the life guard are all true haha. But was actually quite entertaining at times, but he really does need to lighten up a bit and remember people are on their holidays. Overall though we had a nice time here

CONS…. Budget hotel in need of desperate renovation , dirty in almost all areas , the bedroom was so dated and smells of a strange smell , I couldn’t work out if it was coming from the drains or the aircon or what but really not pleasant , the surface you have to walk on around the pool is absolutely filthy , every morning I seen cleaners hosing it down and walking away , no cleaning the muck up !!!! Entertainment was ok but very short, some nights they didn’t even do the mini disco ? Lots of kids standing around aswell. Toilets ? What is going on with that ,,, two toilets for all womens in the whole of downstairs ? Also life gaurd turned up late to open the pool almost every day ! Pros …. DANNY from entertainment made days around the pool so fun !! Great guy and a credit to the hotel , food was fairly decent and there was something to eat for everyone , they have all the usual set meal times but also have all day pizza chips nuggets etc by the pool for snacking. Area - absolutely stunning views and almost untouched traditional scenery . Perfect for a quiet get away , I say quiet because there is really a limited choice of things to do in the area , it would make a pretty boring holiday if you have kids and like to venture out. 3 out of 5 you get what you pay for .

Great hotel and friendly staff and efficient just a short walk from shops and bars. Food and drinks were amazing. Entertainment every night but be down early to get a seat.

The location is good not very far away from 2 amazing beaches, the atmosphere created by the staff was brilliant and welcoming and so chilled, the rooms were as clean as can be but with no extraction in the bathroom there was mould in the bathroom and excessive limescale on the taps, this hotel is old and needs a big cosmetic upgrade that is the only thing that lets it down as the staff work tirelessly to keep everything clean. The food and drinks here are perfect, the buffet was delicious and has allot of different things to choose from, the drinks at bar are also brilliant but only a selected drinks available to you even on all inclusive, you can’t go wrong with food and drinks. Staff are all so welcoming and give a very relaxed vibe and always there to help. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the upgrades it so desperately needs, also needs another pool as there is only one main pool which is too small for the amount of guests and gets very packed and doesn’t get cleaned regularly enough, the pictures are deceiving. It is ok for a cheap short break but wouldn’t stay here for a week or more, with a big refurbishment and another pool this hotel would easily be 4 star.

Me (20M) and 3 other friends decided on this hotel for our first 'lads' holiday and it was a great decision. All inclusive was such a good idea especially here, the food was great and different each day, beach was a 5 minute walk away, the entertainment was great, absolutely lovely staff and the rooms were cleaned everyday. Only downside I would say is that there wasn't much going on in terms of nightlife since we're kind of on the 'wrong' side of Mallorca - solution: 20 min taxi to Cala D'or. I would recommend this for anyone really!
