AluaSun Cala Antena

We had an amazing stay here at alua sun cala antena! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the location was great and we enjoyed all the hotel activities and food. We would definitely come back!

This is an above average 3 star hotel, nice big rooms, nice food and lovely staff. Location is in between 2 sandy coves, the bigger one is much better. Pool is lovely with sun beds around it. You can get a great boat excursion from the bigger cove, would recommend. We were a large family group and everyone enjoyed it. Beer and drinks were good, with a change in the cocktail of the day. Ice lolly’s available to help yourself. They operate a token policy for your plastic cup during the day, which helps keep the pool area clear of cups lying around, good for the environment, each time you go up they give you a clean one. Location is also close to shops, bars and restaurants if you want to go out for a wander. The last day the storm knocked out the WiFi in the rooms and air con, they were sorting it when we left. They will cut off your all inclusive band at 12 check out but they are very open and honest that this would happen, you could keep it going for €20. We booked a space on the shower room list on the last day and went to the beach, well worth doing this. Rooms were big, but decor/fabrics to be expected for a 3 star.

I have no words to explain how poor this was never been spoken to so rudely by hotel staff in my life. The mold in the rooms on curtains and bathroom was awful and the air con could not be used due to the stagnant water smell when it was on! Cant see how this is 3 star be 1 if that!

Never had such disappointment in a holiday experience before and this hotel excelled in disappointment… the rooms were filthy .. dust rolling around under beds … bathroom was painted with gloss paint in the bath !! The shower curtain had mildew on it… the bidet was green with verdigris and mirrors were cracked … the pool area was littered with cigarette ends and empty drinks cups … the food area at the pool was disgustingly dirty again cigarette ends and people smoking over the food … This was a very sought after holiday booked through TUI who have not responded to the problem!! Not a place for families !!

We arrived at the hotel as first time visitors. Check in was efficient and friendly and although our rooms were not ready we were kept informed as to their availability. Buffet restaurant was light and airy, always immaculately clean, and the food was varied and tasty. Rooms were adequate and all of our 4 rooms were next to each other which is not always the case. Pool is on the small size but no problem in getting sufficient sun beds. Half of my party participated in the entertainment games etc. and really enjoyed themselves. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back next year
