BQ Paguera Boutique

This is the second time I have visited this hotel, 4 years apart and both times it has been a fantastic visit. Pilar in reception gave a lovely welcome on both occasions and always has a smile and a hello to you when you pass. The welcome drink we were offered in the bar was also a lovely touch. The room was spotless and well made up, the beds comfortable and plenty of storage space (we were in a Superior Room). The balcony is roomy for sitting out and comes with rails for drying your clothes/swimsuits as well as your towels. The breakfast was as good as I remembered, with plenty of fresh options, as well as a hot egg/pancake station which was made to order. Was it busy? Yes, but coffee was brought out as quickly as possible and tables were cleared swiftly. I have waited longer in coffee shops for my order and the staff were always pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the main street and from there you are literally already on the beach. It is a safe and short walk down the hill, both day and night and there is a long main drag full of shops, pharmacies and restaurants in both directions. Once you head further down onto the main beach, there are more restaurants available with a view of the water. If you prefer to eat in the hotel, dinner can be booked. We only did this once due to a thunderstorm, but thoroughly enjoyed it. We did spend a fair bit of time in the bar and out by the pool however! The service is fantastic and the sangria is the best I've had anywhere. May have also been a deciding factor in coming back! The pool size is ideal for cooling off and there are always loungers available with drinks service options as well. All the staff we encountered in the hotel were so friendly and welcoming and we saw many single travelers chatting away. I also prefer the fact that this is an adult-only hotel which meant that the atmosphere was quieter. Highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be returning in the future! Dissapointing. Third year staying here. Hotel is clean, great location, bedrooms are well appointed. Most of the staff are pleasant and professional. This year, the hotel was very full and seemed to be struggling to deal with the numbers at breakfast. The service at breakfast was at times chaotic. Staff seemed to be under a lot of pressure. Tables not cleared, breakfast check in and welcome non existent, plates and bowls and glasses in short supply. Coffee orders either missed entirely or incorrect. The lady manager seemed more interested in rearranging items on the buffet than helping out. Really not good enough for a 4 star and quite expensive hotel.

This hotel is truly fantastic The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them The rooms are perfect and kept spotlessly clean Good quality towels and toiletries The coffee pod machine is a nice touch with ingredients topped up daily also bottles of complimentary water each day in the room But best of all the breakfast there is so much choice and hot drinks served to you at your table I would highly recommend this hotel it really is amazing !

An excellent Boutique Hotel. Perfect Location, not too far from beach, shops and bars but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel is extremely well looked after, staff friendly, happy and engaging with all clients. This must be down to good management. We stayed HB and the choice of food both for breakfast and dinner was varied and plentiful. (Kudos to the chef for the excellent Fish and Seafood Soup one evening). I have a dietary intolerance and the hotel had taken note and looked after me superbly, even getting certain products from a supermarket for me. Every member of staff was so helpful that is why I haven't named them, from Housekeeping, Kitchen, Restaurant, Reception, Bar etc and Management. No hesitation to book in future.

Fabulous hotel. Staff great and can’t do enough to help. Rosa, carmen, Sophia and Gaston were all very good. The hotel is spotless, food is served and a good choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay here and it most certainly won’t be our last 😊
