Absolutely loved this holiday! Dani and Daniel were amazing, the real highlight of the 7 days we spent here. They made the stay worth the while and that extra bit special. The room, the food, the drinks were lovely. Stayed on the ground floor with easy access to the pool and entertainment. However, on the ground floor near the cave bar it could get noisy sometimes (not worth worrying about though). The drinks included in all inclusive were good options but the queue was often huge and took 15 minutes to get drinks each time. Apart from this the holiday was amazing and definitely would come back again due to the quality of the food and entertainment!

Amazing stay - food, drinks and entertainment all top! The hotel is the perfect place to relax, with the beach nearby for swimming and snorkelling. Daniel and Dani were so fun and kept the vibes going all week! They are very good at what they do and clearly are dedicated to making sure everyone has a great time! Yes there are a couple of queues for drinks - but nothing crazy. Recommend booking if you’re after a relaxing stay.

The service at the pool bar very poorly run The hotel is in a great location but the little things you could change would make a massive difference

NOT A TUI 4 star. Very disappointing. Hotel. Was just up to 3 star TUI hotel. It would be quicker to list what’s right than wrong. Going to bullet point the negatives. Please bear in mind when reading this I have stayed in many TUI 4 stars and none of these points were an issue before. 1. No one in foyer to great us. 2. Blazé staff behind reception with no smile. Was tagged with a yellow ribbon band showing the Globales name and we had to wear the whole holiday even when we were took ourselves off for the day/evening. 3. We had to carry our own baggage to our room. When we arrived (on top floor) the card key didn’t work so I had to go all the way back down to get it sorted. Sullen face and no apology from woman at reception. 4. Room had no drawer space. Only cream for tea/coffee. What person had cream in their tea? 2 bottles of water in fridge which I found out later would not be replenished during our stay. If you want the safe you have to pay. TUI rep advised us to leave valuables in our locked cases instead. You also have to pay a deposit of €10 for each beach towel and if you want a replacement it’s €1 every time. The patio doors did not lock but as we were on the top floor that wasn’t an issue. The shower was a trickle ( no exaggeration) that ran hot and cold furring usage. 4. The pool area was so packed it was like an 18-30s holiday in Benidorm. All beds had no personal space between them. If you wanted one you had to get up a 5pm to claim them with your towel. I was NOT doing that. I felt like I was in an episode of Benidorm at the Solana Hotel. As we were on top floor and payed extra we had what they described as a ‘VIP’ area with plunge pool. This was a joke. The only thing extra this gave us was nasty tasting fizzy alcohol, water and orange juice free of charge. The sunbeds were hard and very uncomfortable and exactly the same as the lower pool area. The bar here only served drinks, no food. So if you wanted a snack you had to go all the way down to pool level at the bottom and join the masses in a ‘canteen’ like area that was dirty with tables not cleared and miserable staff shouting at each other across the bar and kitchen, whilst waiting in a very long queue. We did this once and it was a terrible experience. Eating and relaxing on holiday is a must for me and this space gave me neither of these. 5. The restaurant for dinner was chaos. Queues from door all the way round reception waiting to open at 7pm. Table of drinks outside door but if you choose dinner later the drinks are all gone and nobody refills. Chaos trying to find a table as no staff to direct you. They were too busy banging and clattering dirty crockery on trolley. They also argued amongst themselves whilst doing this with very miserable faces. Dinner to me is a a relaxing experience and part of the holiday. I like to take my time, savour the food and enjoy. I couldn’t wait to get out. If you leave dinner until 9pm you choice of table is better and less crowded but you risk getting the scraps left and nothing replaced. One night there was no puddings except for ice cream and a bit of fruit. This was at 9.10 and the restaurant didn’t close until 9.45. 6. Evenings were so dull. Entertainment was poor and sitting in reception by the bar was like sitting in an airport lounge. No nice decor, paintings, plants etc to make it feel inviting. Again we had to queue for a drink. One bar person on and if someone ordered cocktails for their party you were basically stood for about 15 minutes. If you read my review until the end, thank you for listening to my rantings. So! I won’t be going back.

Overall, a clean hotel in a beautiful beach-cove location, ideal for relaxing. However, the bathroom was shabby, with loose wall tiles and cracked ceiling paint, and the outdoor pool did not appear hygienically clean, so we stopped using it, preferring to swim in the sea. The pool bar was too small for a hotel of this size, resulting in long queues despite the lovely, hardworking staff. The hotel taxi service was extremely frustrating, particularly between 6pm–8pm, with frequent cancellations and delays. The hotel is also quite isolated for evenings. Room safes were available, but at around €56 for five days, felt expensive.
