Great breakfast, Montse helped us move seats and gave us good recommendations for local villages to visit. Nice pool area make sure you put your towel town as everyone is up at the crack of dawn to reserve them! Rooms on the 3rd floor have more space, rooms on the 6th are a bit pokey and have a view of other people’s jacuzzis.

Had a week at this hotel and it was great. The service from all staff, especially reception staff during the day and night was fantastic. They were always polite and willing to help you. The glass of cava you get when checking in is an added bonus and helps quench your thirst. The views from the room are fantastic and waking up to a sea view ever morning was great. Rooms are a great size and the cleaning staff do a great job. I like the water dispensers around the hotel so you can help yourself. A really good quality, with quality of customers that stay here and location is handy to lots of little restaurants, shops and the main part of Santa ponsa. One thing that did disappoint me was I was on bed and breakfast and when I went to the dining room one evening to purchase to eat in the buffet, this was an extra 46euros for 1 person which I declined as I thought that was excessive and it done me a favour as I walked up the road in 3 minutes and had a 3 course Chinese meal for 20 euros with a drink. Thanks for a great time!

Positives- majority of staff bar, restaurant,maids etc amazing and hardworking. Rooms are large and good views from hotel and restaurant. Negatives- paid £3500 for a 5 night star prestige AI and this is not value for money at all. We arrived at 3pm from an 8am Newcastle flight (not hotels fault I know) met by lovely porter who took us to Star Prestige reception. Room not ready so asked about something to eat, to be told restaurant now shut, snacks at 4pm from bar or walk down road to a restaurant?? Could not even get us some fruit and bread. We went for drink at bar (premium brands chargeable!) and decided to upgrade room to swim up. Paid the extra €400 euros (was our 30th wedding anniversary). Room was lovely but be careful with their definition of swim up- ramp right in front of us and had to go round and use steps. My advice check your room as some also in shade all day due to cabana beds in front of terrace. star prestige bar at night has not music, not even background music so poor atmosphere.speakers are there but not in use? Restaurant quality and food not good- very limited variety and food not hot, chewy meat and cross contamination issues (serving tomato pasta sauce with the seafood sauce spoon!) We noticed the star prestige bar had a separate menu so we asked about that thinking we could try lunch there (it was on the terrace next to Pool). This is where another ‘extra’ came in -€15 for a burger or €17 pizza. When I spoke to a customer service manager (he was talking to another couple who had a similar issue about availability and charging) he said we needed to pay for bar food as it was an ‘extra service’??? I repeatedly asked how but that is all he would say. We feel the management have let this hotel down and disappointed with our experience to the point we will not visit and iberostar again and stick to h10 privilege. Comments last year have stated the same and replies have indicated they will take feedback on board, clearly you don’t and just feel you want to squeeze more money from what could be loyal customers.

This is a Fantastic Hotel. The Ibersotar is a good brand. Good seems a priority. We stayed All Inclusive. The Food was Amazing. Presentation was Fantastic. Chefs cooking a meal time to you specific needs was just great. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Entertainment was very good every night. I went to a wine and painting class I really enjoyed it. The do surfing pilates yoga etc . We will be returning. Short walk to town and shops. Beautiful view from all rooms overlooking a bay .
