Iberostar Selection Jardin del Sol Suites

Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. We were welcomed out of hours by (King) Philip at reception, who greeted us by name on arrival. He had been expecting us, prepared refreshments, upgraded our suite, and personally escorted us to our residence while introducing the excellent facilities. Every member of staff, without exception, was lovely. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful, with clear attention to detail throughout. We were fortunate to enjoy glorious weather during our four-day stay, and the pools, beds, loungers, and canopy shades were always readily available. With very few exceptions, guests respected the no-reservation policy, and we never struggled to find a comfortable spot. It’s difficult to single out any staff member as everyone went above and beyond, but special thanks to the behind-the-scenes teams — cleaning, housekeeping, catering, waiting-on, kitchen teams and maintenance, who maintained impeccable standards across all facilities. We stayed in a Junior Suite, Star Prestige, which provides access to additional pools (including a heated pool), regular snacks, and thoughtful daily touches such as rum punch, smoothies, small gifts, an additional minibar, pool towels, and excellent toiletries. My advice: consider a lower room category or board basis and upgrade to Star Prestige. You certainly won’t go hungry, and even the smallest suites offer ample space without compromise. The passion services and facilities are worth the cost. A wonderfully relaxing break in a fabulous hotel. We will recommend without hesitation and look forward to returning later in the year.

Our first time here and in Santa Ponsa. Overall we will be back; it was a lovely break and if a couple of things are fixed it would be perfect. Pros: Beautiful View - the best we've had in Majorca Very kind and friendly staff Heated Spa Prestige Pool and Balinese Beds a perfect addition Public areas very clean and tidy and looked after So quiet - a lovely area and you can hear the sea at night whilst in bed with the balcony doors open Nice and close to the Square where there are some lovely restaurants, handy supermarket and only a 20 min walk down to the main beach in the area (with more restaurants/shops) The best selection of breakfast and gluten free and lactose free milk options I have come across. A lovely omelette station and fresh orange juice/smoothies/cava - what more could you need. Cons: The drains and toilet in the room absolutely stunk. The cleaning ladies did their best (and were fully aware due to them putting the towels over the drains and closing the sink plug holes each day) but it was to the point of you having to hold your breath when going to the toilet. It did make both my hubby and my stomach turn and we usually can put up with a lot. The bath - this was stained yellow, peeling and when we had a bath the ceramic paint came off and there was rusty holes everywhere). This was a big shame as the main reason we booked the hotel was for the whirlpool bath as we were going in the cold weather season and wanted a relaxing soak. The rest of the hotel is amazing, I just think they need to spend some time renovating the rooms themselves, as this is what let them down. We were in block 2, quite to the left (near the heated pool) but you had to go all the way to the other end of the block to get down to the pool level and then walk all the way back up to the heated pool. It would have been great if there was access on the left hand side of block 2 to get out to the top of the hill. That's it from me; I'm sure you all will have a lovely time.

Had a short 4 night stay recently, and left as a very happy guest. The hotel is lovely with great views onto the Bay Area. Rooms are very spacious and great size balconies for your evening drink. Everything was pretty much effortless, food was of a really good standard with plenty of options at breakfast and friendly staff. The star prestige area is superb with many areas to relax and different pools to choose from. All staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful Tom the front desk manager was great, and accompanied by Melanie and Amanda the day of check in who were both lovely and made everything smooth as possible. Luci at the breakfast check in was a pleasure to speak with and showed interest in our day to day plans! The animation team were also great and brought energy and atmosphere particularly on the cocktail making day events. (I did not catch his name but he was on shift the Saturday 4th April) he made the event fun and easy going. Everything was top notch! Keep up the good work 🫶 Will plan to revisit in the future

Absolutely amazing experience from A-Z upon arrival were greeted by highly professional reception team with complimentary drinks. The venue was breathtaking with mesmerising views of the from beach. Locations is 10/10 perfect for peaceful relaxation and tranquility. We were 5 ladies escaping rainy UK just for 3 days away in absolute beautiful front beach hotel. Proper 5 stars hotel clean and comfortable with friendly staff and service. Rooms were super clean and had bathrooms and complimentary coffee plus mini refrigerator. Room service and housekeeping available. Little downfall was that shower cubicle never had showers head with hose it’s self. The front beach view with a balcony opens gorgeous view to forget all the noise and rewind from daily routine. The pool indoors had hydro massage build in but only one downfall was that sauna and steam room is at extra cost. Although this was more of part of massage and beauty therapy package for an additional cost. Breakfast included in our package with plenty of hot and cold food variety, beverages including even champagne and fresh fruit choices. Restaurant staff was highly professional, friendly and attention to details proper customer service. Just perfect! As we only had short break for 2 nights 3 days we paid fair price. We we’re also able to enjoy life singer entertainment at the bar in the evening. In addition to add extra star ⭐ is for courtesy room to stay for 1h for free before our late evening departure. I consider being very lucky staying in this posh hotel with great location away from busy Santa Ponca beach where was too much noise and more pollution. Shopping and local restaurants from 5-15 min walk. It was truly beautiful and enjoyable stay in Santa Ponca!
