O7 Cala Ratjada

For its price its nice. Has lots of activities and utilities on the premises such as: daytime bar from 10 a.m to 6 p.m, late time bar from 6 p.m till around 10/11 p.m, arcade/gaming room (addional payment for all amusement machines), 2 swimming pools, burger/hot dog station available throughout the day, basket/football court, public shower (personal shower in your room is still present), storage room, and a transfer order capability. The gaming room has quite few arcade machines and pool, ping pong, and dart (During our stay the only remaining dart had bended tip). Although the games are free, the arcade machines are not and require extra payment. The bar has selection of soft drinks, beer and alcoholic bevarages as well as coffee and other hot drinks. The exterior environment is wonderfully looking having a lot palm trees and vegetation and most importantly wheelchair access everywhere. The rooms looked bit dated and the bed throw had a really vagriented color of blue (which I didnt like). Cleaning service is nice. Also, be careful with the keys, the room we had a door that locked itself when the door is shut. Even if you forget the keys in the room, dont worry the reception has master keys. During our stay we got unlucky with our room and it didnt feature any sockets except the one tv was plugged to, additionally a broken AC with a broken lock on the balcony door. But the hotel workers were kind enough to give us a new room even though its was heavily booked out. Good news we had a working AC but it leaked water so repairman fixed it the next day. Hotel food was really nice in taste sometimes, but the choices were limited time to time. The breakfast was almost the same every day featuring bacon and fried and grilled egg. The dessert option were cheap. Usually it was variety of sponge cakes with different topping such as kiwi , strawberry, chocolate and almond. There was selection of fresh fruits and ice cream every day too. The hotel is located in Cala Rajada, with many different shops nearby. Few beautiful beaches and marina in walking distance. If you are looking for peaceful stay away from the Magaluf party vibe this is definitely one to consider. Trough all that misfortune our stay was really pleasant and enjoyable.

The location of hotel was 1 and half hours from the airport. The location itself was good as the beach was like 10 mins away and marina was 10 mins walk. Lots of shops near by and lovely atmosphere around area. Room was the worst room iv seen in years.. I almost cried when they gave us our room. They gave us a room which had no working toilet. I tried to pull the lever and it just came out. I went to charge my phone and then looked around in room and thete was no charging sockets..that's right not even one. There was a TV plugged in however it was behind a bed and that was just crap as u could not move bed as it was awkward position. Then I noticed there was always ants on the floor. Best part is they said online the rooms and accommodation are air conditioning. Absolutely liars. That's is not the case.. the room we was given it wasn't even working.. the temperature outside was 36degrees. And the bedroom was hotter than outside..it felt like a sauna..when I tried to change my room. The receptionist said to come in morning and they will sort it..I came Next day to be told sorry thetr is none.. I didny move from reception as I asked to speak to manager. I told them how can I be comfortable in room without toilet working no sockets and room is boiling.. It was disgusting. Felt like they were fobbing me off..I tried to contact love holidays which tried to help. But I was so disappointed. I wasted my first day until 2 waiting for a answer.. the manager turned up late..I was not the only one standing there either. Other customers were waiting to complain daily about something or another. Eventually they changed our room at 3pm. Again air con was so low that you couldn't even feel it much. Beds were bit hard and they give you the flattest pillows ever. Food was ok to start with and then it got worse over the week..I kept asking for no meat items..they kept saying no halal..I was like I'm asking if it's vegetarian. The workers speak very little English.. there was one lady cooking who helped.and did sort us out for the kids.. so she was helpful. One day we were sat lobby playing card games they turned lights off. They kept shushing us..its like we on holiday they just wanted us to to stay out the lobby..which was fully air conditioning. But our rooms were terrible. Everything just seemed broken.. Even the showers were ok however whilst standing in Bath the water would be piling up and took forever to go down..clearly there was blockage but do they care I don't think so. I found one young guy at reception feeling guilty and he did try help but that's because I didn't move..I said please get your manager..I even told them I had contacted love holidays. Then eventually they changed our room.. if u want peaceful holiday don't ever come here with kids. The place is battered..swimming pool had mould. At tomes bedrooms smelt of mould too. I have so many bad photos but all I can say is don't bother.. it such a waste of money.. We still carried on n stayed out most of the.time..its like hell hotel. Entertainment in evening seemed good. However there was just never enough seats for evryone so that was annoying too.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel. Great customer service and environment.
