Protur Floriana Resort

We really enjoyed staying here. Pros: Location amazing 10 minute stroll to cala bona 20 minutes to the start of cala millor. Food brilliant. I mean buffet restaurants aren't amazing usually but this is probably the tastiest buffet all inclusive I've stayed at. We stayed here for 5 nights, 2 adults 2 children age 9-11. We got a good deal for the hotel. Our apartment was nice and spacious. We were in the furthest block away from the main pool and reception but it wasn’t an issue. Just be prepared for all the cockrells waking you up in the morning. Room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. We were all inclusive so only used the room to sleep, shower and get ready. You have to get an iron from reception leave a €10 euro deposit and you can only keep it for 2 days? So we just ironed all our stuff at once and gave it back. Also no hair dryer those were the only negatives about the room. We reserved sun loungers at 9am by the main pool and there were still lots available which was good. The only reason that makes me question whether to book this hotel again is the size of the pools. Every pool is very small. You can not do any swimming, they are overcrowded and not big enough for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. The food - Breakfast was really good, full english. Just missing hash browns! Maybe some bagels and smoked salmon would have been nice at breakfast. Lunch i struggled with the most and ended up with paella most days, i didn’t want a big heavy meal but it lacked meat for sandwiches, they need some ham, cheese, tuna or maybe some grilled chicken to be able to make a salad baguette. There was always a variety of things but not a massive selection. Could also improve on the pizza, thick frozen bases. We did eat out a lot at night to break it up and there are also some lovely restaurants in cala bona. Cala Bona is a lot nicer than Cala Millor, Santa Ponsa and Sa Coma. So i would definitely stay here again for a good price it’s just the pool sizes that put me off. But overall great holiday my children enjoyed it and we would go back for a cheap week away.

This is our 4th year coming back.The hotel is clean,there is always food for everyone to eat with multiple options, chefs cooking fresh meat,fish and Veg options. The staff have always been so friendly with many of them being there over 15 years! There is always staff cleaning the pools, cleaning around the pool areas and also round the area of evening entertainment. Always washed down and cleaned up ready for the next day. It’s spacious with 4 different pool areas. You can always get a sun bed even at 9am! We had an issue with a cockerel waking us up , I spoke to reception and they put us in a different room. They were so accommodating and so kind. For the bad reviews on here, I would completely disagree. I would recommend this hotel for families, it’s affordable, clean with lots of sports going on through the daytime. You wouldn’t book this hotel for a couple or as adults. From the pictures, you can clearly see it’s a family resort. They provide activities throughout the daytime including Yoga and aqua dance. With live shows on the evening. The evening entertainment could be better but it’s a short walk into Cala Bona, where there is lots to do and many live bands around. Great location aswell as you can get a mini train to resorts Cala Millor and Sa coma for €10 each adult and less for children. You can hop on and hop off as much as you like. Great hotel, don’t be put off by some bad reviews. Many families we spoke to come back year after year enjoying every minute of it!

Where do I start....this hotel is fantastic. We first stayed here 3 years ago and decided to return as we loved it so much. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, everything was dealt with a smile. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and were always on hand to assist you. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We were AI and the food was just wow!!! So much choice and it caters for all tastes and age ranges. The drinks available were great and again catered for everyone (the spirit measures are very generous!!). The kids loved the free ice creams that are available throughout the day. The hotel grounds are kept spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a few early morning walks (about 7am) and cleaning was already underway. Never had issues getting sunbeds as there were plenty and there were no 'sunbed wars', people generally started putting towels down at around 08:30. The hotel just has a lovely feel to it and it really does cater well for families. Cala Bona is such a lovely resort with a lovely marina and ideal for those evening strolls. A 15 / 20 minute stroll down the promenade is Cala Millor, which is a lot bigger with more shops and bars, if you want something a bit more lively. I would definitely recommend this hotel / resort and will be retuning at some point but might try one of the other Protur hotels in this area. This is the first time we have been to Majorca in August and it was a bit to hot for us, so will probably return at a different time of the year. I will try and add photos at some point.

Fantastic brilliant hotel, this is my second time as I came here in 2025. We requested our previous room which we got again which was appreciated and great. We also got given a bottle of champagne in our room with a note saying pleased to see you again which was a nice touch. The hotel is very spacious, plenty of pools and never had an issue once getting a sunbed, you don’t have to get up early to get one. Location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk and you’re at the beach and Cala Bona Harbour. I want to give a special mention to Yudier and Marta in the restaurant. They were both so friendly, made a fuss over my kids each time we walked in there, always smiling and they were very good at their job. They really are a credit to the hotel and deserve a bonus! One area of improvement I would suggest is the night time entertainment but overall would recommend this hotel and I will be back again for sure.
