Protur Sa Coma Playa Hotel & Spa

A wonderful holiday spent here with 3 generations of our family for my birthday. Spotlessly clean, with fantastic staff who are always smiling and friendly, and more than happy to help. The main pool is large and the children's pool has more than enough to keep the kids happy. Maybe take swim shoes as the pool bottom is slightly abrasive in some areas. The staff worked hard with intermittent activities around the pool and kept a good balance between relaxation & a bit extra for the more energetic among us. There is also a separate adults only pool at the other side of the hotel if needed. The food was varied and plentiful. My son and are are both coeliac and gluten free food was available at all times. Fresh GF pizzas, pasta and fries are available on request but everything is labelled up for allergens. There is a separate gluten free station for breakfast with dedicated toaster and GF cereals etc, we were well looked after. The rooms are a good size and all airconditioned. Our only issue was the aircon in communal areas, even at night in parts of the entertainment bar and dining room it really struggled to keep it cool. It was approx 34-36 deg all week though so maybe that didn't help. The aircon in the rooms was sufficient and we slept well at night. A few bars and restaurants close, and a ten minute walk to the beach and nearby shops. In my opinion I would give the animal farm a miss if you are staying here. All in all I would recommend this hotel for families and couples alike a beautiful place we would like to return to.

Beautiful hotel . Staff lovely hard workers . Cleaners do a fantastic job . The mini fridge was a lovely bonus filled daily . Breakfast was the best for me . But always found something to eat . No fights for sunbeds . Very quiet at night . Ideal location . Woukd certainly go back .

The food is outstanding in this hotel. The hotel is spacious and theres not a mad rush for sunbeds there is always availability. Super clean rooms. My only issue was the aircon wasnt low enough and it affected my sleep.

We had a great time with 4 generations of our family - we booked 3 swim up rooms which made it super easy to all be together The rooms were very good and the mini bar a welcome treat All the hotel staff were great and their service was exemplary We all ate very well with lots of choice and a good choice of drinks, cocktails and ice creams with the AI There were lots of activities on offer too, many included within the AI price We took advantage of the 16+ pool area when our granddaughter was napping with her great grandparents which was very nice! The rooms at our hotel slept a maximum of 3 which made it less busy with children ( The Safari Hotel over the road was more children oriented and was much more hectic) The evening entertainment was OK but cocktails helped the vibe We would definitely visit again Thank you Sa Coma Playa!

Nice clean and spacioushotel, we stayed in a swim up room which was lovely. Only downside was the restaurant as was very busy from start to finish and lots of kids so very noisy. Our fault for not researching enough. Great location and food was good, no great but good. For a young family it’s probably a great choice but for those ageing sun seekers there’s better, more peaceful choices out there
