TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins

This is a great place for a family holiday although if your travel agent tells you its quiet it's not, we had a self catering apartment overlooking the smaller deeper pool and very close to the evening entertainment, we would have preferred to be the other side where the big pool is having two autistic kids with us , as no one was able to sleep before 10 most nights and sometimes 11 , the facilities are really good , food offerings are pretty poor but we managed to get fruit and salad from local supermarkets although they are very expensive

Not the worst hotel I've been to. But not the best either. Pools are lovely. Best bit tbh. But the sunbeads have you crammed like sardines and not enough parasols. Food is average at best. Breakfast is the nicest. Everything else ok - no coherence to what they serve. Kids selection is sparse. One bug bear for me was no ketchup in the kids buffet in the restaurant and none at dinner at all in Green & Grill. What kids doesn't want ketchup with their chips?? Went on AI - ended up paying for ice creams as the selection so poor. Queue for drinks a nightmare too. We've been here a week and our room has been cleaned once. Had to call twice and take a trip to reception today to make a complaint for fresh towels. We did have an issue with air con on day 1 but that was resolved quickly. Entertainment is mediocre. Even the kids stuff is lacking in comparison to Holiday Village Majorca for example. Gym isnt as advertised. Much smaller and equipment really limited. Good location to get the bus to Can Picafort and Alcudia. But very little else close by. My daughter loved the pony rides just outside the hotel which was a welcome activity. Departure day facilities are really good. Massive lockers and lots of showers to freshen up. Most toilets around the sight lack soap and good hand drying facilities. All in all pretty average. Enjoyed my break but not one I'll come back to.

Lovely experience it’s a proper family hotel lots of family’s and kids. I just wanted to say we had dinner at the taverna tonight and our waiter MOUAD WAS AMAZING he is extremely informative kind and friendly had a fantastic experience thank you VERY MUCH Mouad you have made our experience extra special thank you for all your hard work tui staff

I am here now home tomorrow,thank goodness. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for cleanliness,the cleaners cleaned our patio door with the curtains!!!! The pool area is filthy, there is rubbish everywhere, absolutely disgusting place very disappointed

We visited the Alcudia Pins hotel in May, a couple of weeks before the English half term holidays. The location is excellent, a small gate and path leads you to the beach direct from the hotel pool complex. There is a supermarket attached to the hotel (very expensive) and another a few minutes walk away (not as expensive). There is a gym that has decent equipment and they provide free water and towels. Very good standard of cleanliness throughout. The hotel had a very chilled atmosphere, there were plenty of sunbeds available each day and the pool side bar was open daily from 10-6. We were self catering and our room was adequately equipped to make simple meals. The room itself was clean, spacious and the bathroom was large with an excellent shower. There are a number of restaurants on site, we didn’t go to the main restaurants as we were self catering but the BBQ restaurant was hit and miss. The first visit was excellent, the second the food wasn’t as good. The Crispy Corner snack bar was also hit and miss, it felt like they were just starting out for the season and lots of the things on the menu weren’t available. It was also very expensive. There is an excellent restaurant a 10 minute walk away called Can Tango - really really good. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to Alcudia main town. Simple tap on and tap off with your phone or bank card. The hotel arranged a taxi for us very early on the Saturday which was very kind. The staff are all lovely, very helpful and friendly. There is evening entertainment if that’s your thing and a daily pool programme and activities schedule. I’m sure during the summer months this place is full to bursting as it’s a large complex but we were blessed with pre season quiet time! Overall we had a wonderful stay with no concerns. Thank you!
