TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar

Absolutely amazing place, loads of sun beds around the pools or in the lovely grass area where you could be in the sun or shade listening to the sea. After reading the previous reviews I was worried about the food but I cannot complain about any of the food. Great choice, fresh with themed evenings too.All the drinks were lovely although the bar in the evening could do with more staff to ease the queue. Entertainment was great we loved the quizzes and my grandchildren loved the kiddie disco and the Tui robot. Silent disco & outside by the pool silent movie night. The rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday with great air conditioning. We went as a family of 15 and I cannot think of a single thing that I could complain about. If you walk out of the hotel you are by the shops, bars and restaurants within 10/ 15 minutes, there’s a bus 🚌 from the hotel but we didn’t use it as the walk was lovely. Would definitely return

We had a nice time. The food is nice, the rooms are nice, the pool is nice. The queues are a bit long, but we’d get over that. The poolside bar that serves food is the only poolside bar, and it’s at the far end of the resort. The fact that a public road runs through the resort, while not feeling dangerous, just makes everything quite disjointed. There is no table service for drinks at dinner, and I spent all meals queuing for food and drink for my kids and myself. I was really disappointed with the kids’ evening entertainment. The quality was poor and annoying. There was a lot of pre-recorded animation, with no opportunity for kids to learn songs or dances, or join in like they can at other resorts. Some of the later acts were fantastic, but a lot were not. I know they might say people have different tastes, but the kids’ shows were nowhere near as good as I’ve seen in other TUI resorts. The main issue was that it was indoors, and this wasn’t mentioned anywhere. That would have been a deal breaker for me if I’d known, and I would not have booked. So that was disappointing. I could also mention that the service wasn’t great, and I didn’t find the staff particularly warm or helpful, but I know that can be subjective. The main things for me were the indoor entertainment in a big hall, and the really poor early evening kids’ shows, which were painful for everyone else as well.

Just back from a super week with family at Mallorca Mar. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming starting with the receptionist on arrival, the lady in charge of the restaurant, chefs and the entertainment staff, special mention to Ashley and the girl serving drinks in the restaurant. The food was great and varied with plenty of choices for the vegans. Pools and entertainment for a 4 and 9 year old were very good too. We lucky to get room 7218 overlooking the sea.

Hotel drinking water tasted of bleach, food was worse than I make myself at home, daughter was poorly whilst there messaged them no reply. Room wasn’t cleaned towels and sheets with sick on left in the bath not removed. overcrowded everywhere, one bar open in the evenings to get drinks which is a 10 minute walk across a road from the far side of accommodation. Stayed at many TUI blue hotels - this one is the worst by a country mile.
