All the staff are very accommodating, the entertainment team go above and beyond to ensure the children (and adults if they wish) are kept entertained day and night.

Christian and lola are amazing with the children and engaging with people like. The whole entertainment team dont stop and go above and beyond to make sure there are lots of inclusive activities.

Good hotel, clean and tidy room, food has alot of good options. Pool isnt too big which is ideal with small children, would come back, staff very helpful

We visited with our 4 children aged 10, 10, 8 & 1. Before arriving I was a little worried due to the very mixed reviews. We arrived early hours of the morning & were shown where we could get some food & water. Upon entering the rooms they did smell very musty which concerned me. However, the smell soon went & I must say our rooms were very clean, cleaners were in every day. Our shower would occasionally go hot / cold, but I personally didn’t find it too much of a problem. Our rooms had everything we needed (comfy beds) & were clean so cannot complain. We spent most of our time at the Island Pool, which the kids loved! There was the snack bar there too which was great- you could get usual chips, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream & they also did different stuff such as small baguettes, kebab meat, onion rings, chicken wings etc along with drinks. We didn’t have a major problem with the mosquitos over there, us adults got a couple of bites but that is all. The island pool definitely is less hectic than the main pool & we really enjoyed it over there. And if you got there at a reasonable time we never had trouble gettinf a sunbed. The food was consistently good, we never had a bad meal! And it really makes a difference being somewhere with decent food. Even my very fussy 10 year old tried some new foods & loved it! The only issue we had was there was not many pudding options for my daughter who cannot have milk. But apart from that- food was spot on. The evening entertainment as usually the case with hotels was fine, nothing to write home about. The kids enjoyed the discos though & the karaoke one evening. There was milk by the bar, which was really handy for us to be able to fill up our son’s bottle for the evening, saving us from going to the shop / having to pay for a fridge. The walls are very thin- we had two rooms next to each other & i could hear everything going on, but it didn’t overally bother me. Also- great location. We often took a walk to where the shops / pubs etc were- was really nice and only took us 10 mins or so. There’s also a nice walk around the lake / island, which was a winner when we wanted to get our youngest down for their afternoon nap. All in all, we had such a lovely holiday & Lagomonte (and the kids loved it!) It is somewhere we would definitely return!

TUI SUNEO Lagomonte – Honest Family Holiday Review We stayed at TUI SUNEO Lagomonte during the school summer holidays and, overall, had a nice holiday. However, having experienced the hotel, I personally wouldn’t choose to return. The room We had a pool-view room, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was very basic and quite dated. There was no fridge, and the safe was an additional €15 to hire. There was a kettle, but no tea, coffee, cups or milk provided, so it wasn’t particularly useful unless you brought your own supplies. The bathroom was clean and the shower was a good size, but there was nowhere in the shower to put shampoo or shower gel, meaning everything had to sit on the floor. A simple shower shelf would make a big difference. The air conditioning worked very well, although it did leak one night. Maintenance responded quickly and sorted it out, so no real complaint there. The hotel was generally very clean, and the cleaners clearly worked hard. Pools and outdoor areas The main pool was probably my biggest criticism. It is quite small for the number of guests the hotel accommodates, and during the school holidays it became quite chaotic. That said, all the children seemed to have a great time, so it clearly works well for its target market. There also weren’t enough sunbeds for the number of guests. Many people ended up using chairs dotted around the complex instead. The Island Pool was much more enjoyable. It was quieter, had a better chance of getting a sunbed and had a nice seating area away from the busier main pool. The Island Pool had self-service drinks available from 10:00–18:00, including beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee. There was also food available throughout the day, including burgers, hot dogs, paella, pasta, salad, ice cream and cakes. We thought the food here was very nice, and it was a great alternative to the main pool when you wanted somewhere a little more relaxed. There is also a small football pitch with mini goals, although my 8-year-old was disappointed with it as it was quite small. There are a few swings and a playroom too. Bars and drinks The pool bar was open from 10:00–18:00 and had a good selection of drinks, although strangely there was no water available at the pool bar. Water was available from the kitchen area inside reception, along with a few snacks such as nachos, bread, ham and cheese. The main bar opened from 18:00–00:00. Glassware was only available between 19:00 and 22:30, with drinks served in plastic cups outside of those hours. After the evening entertainment, it was essentially music and plastic cups through until closing. The coffee machine was switched off around 23:00, although water was available 24/7. There was also a small shop inside reception, open Monday–Friday from 09:00–17:00. Food The buffet restaurant operated: * Breakfast: 08:00–10:00 * Lunch: 12:00–15:00 * Dinner: 18:00–21:00 The selection wasn’t huge and the food was quite pork-heavy, but what we ate was generally cooked well and there was always something you could find to eat. The pizzas were particularly good! Wine, beer and soft drinks were available in glassware in the restaurant, which was a nice touch. The coffee machine was running from around 06:00. Entertainment The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and there were activities going on throughout the day, including pool games, water polo and Jenga. The entertainment is very much aimed at children and families, which is understandable given the Suneo concept. The evening entertainment consisted of a mini disco followed by a show. The quality was fairly low and at times it felt like they were trying to make something out of very little, but we knew before booking that this was part of the Suneo concept, so it wasn’t really a surprise. Location The location is good. The town is around a 10-minute walk away and there are plenty of bars, restaurants, bingo and karaoke nearby. Hidropark is also around 10 minutes away and we had a nice day there. I’d say it’s particularly suited to younger children, probably under 12. Older children may find another waterpark more appealing. However, the highlight of the holiday for us was definitely Alcúdia beach. The beach was lovely — clear, calm water and soft sand with a real Caribbean feel to it. Sunbeds and parasols were available to hire, with two beds and a parasol costing around €18.50 through an app. There were also plenty of beach bars and restaurants. Other facilities The hotel has a laundry room, a 24-hour reception and generally helpful staff. The hotel was clean throughout and the cleaning team worked hard. Overall The Lagomonte is clearly aimed at families looking for a relatively simple, affordable all-inclusive holiday, particularly those with younger children. There are plenty of activities, the staff work hard and there is enough food and drink available throughout the day. The Island Pool was a particular highlight for us, as it offered somewhere quieter away from the main pool. However, there are some things that I think could be improved. The rooms are very basic, there is no fridge, the safe costs extra, and the lack of somewhere to put toiletries in the shower is a small but noticeable annoyance. The main pool is also far too small for the number of guests during the school holidays, and the shortage of sunbeds adds to the chaos. The entertainment is very child-focused and fairly basic, but that’s consistent with what we expected from the Suneo concept. For us, the location and Alcúdia beach were the real highlights, rather than the hotel itself. Would I stay again? Personally, probably not. That said, I can definitely see the appeal of the Lagomonte, particularly for families travelling outside of the school holidays when the hotel and pool are likely to be much quieter. We still had a good holiday, our 8-year-old had plenty to keep him occupied, and the staff genuinely worked hard to make sure guests had a good time. It’s not a luxury hotel, and you shouldn’t book it expecting one. But if you go knowing that you’re getting a basic, family-focused Suneo experience in a good location, you can still have a very enjoyable holiday.
