TUI SUNEO Lagomonte

The hotel is in a perfect place not far from the strip bars etc. The atmosphere in the hotel is great . The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much to help. Great choice of drinks and the food is great . It is your typical buffet choice which is repetitive but great for a 3 * resort we had no complaints even with 1 fussy eaters. The rooms are cleaned every day to a high standard . The air-conditioning was great in our room. The only place that has no air con is in at the indoor bar . All in all we had a fantastic holiday great value for what we paid.

We are 2 females from the Uk. Currently still here. We travel at least once a month. On approach hotel looked ok. We are here for 4 nights. Arrived early morning,luggage in hold room. No were to change apart from small toilet. Had to ask for towels,reception said they are normally in the room.That needs to change when you arrive at 11am check in not untill 3pm. TUI you know your clients are arriving earlier. NO SUN BEDS. People sat on chairs sunbathing. Around pool area drinks and cup's on the floor ,food, I even witnessed a child having a wee...kids are kids...no staff cleaning up. 1 member of staff at the pool bar. No water at the pool bar...Pool to small over crowded for the hotel size. Island pool is even smaller again not enough beds. That's were the snack bar is during the day across a road over a man made walk way not ideal for children to go on there own,not safe!.Once we went to out room at 2.45pm untill the next day about 11am it took to get our room sorted out. Tui first advertise pool view rooms. We have been given mountain view ,this was not in the booking or a choice.The room was dirty we are blonde and there was long black hair every were, food on the floor dirty and ants.The toilet was dirty around the toilet seat.After the rep Dani trying to sort it out and us leaving the room several times she came herself with a brush to clean the room.only Tissue was wiped around the toilet mo cleaning products. As they had lied and said it had been done. The the beds had springs coming through ,these are beds from the 80's... They said there was nothing they could do so we said, put blankets underneath our sheets or provide topper mattresses. We left the room again at 7ish we received a message in the app the beds had been done. Went to bed after a long day of traveling and stress from this. The beds had not been done not only that they had taken our blankets from the wardrobe so we slept on towels as I am someone with disabilities. In the morning the cleaning staff we're around ,their storage cupboard was open,stood up were several thick mattress. I then asked for these to be changed again before breakfast to the rep showing her again the pucture taken. When we went back to the room the cleaner knocked on. 2 mins later no knock just opened the door and barged in whilst I was getting changed ,this was a member of management.... The beds were changed. The food is cold. There is a variety but no taste, meat is to dry as they cook it and then warm back up on the grill ie chicken.Drinks OK there is a variety. No entrainment during the day at the pool. No music. On our last day Sunday they have just put some music on. Entrainment finishes at about 10 pm. They stop serving drinks in glasses at nt at 11pm.you go back to have plastic cups you have had at the pool all day. No air con or fans inside hotel building in relaxing areas. Air con in rooms are not strong enough. YOU WILL GET BITTEN BY MOSQUITOS HEAR SEVERELY. The hotel shuttle bus seats 8 people you need this as you are away from everything. This is not the place for people who cannot walk far. The lift there are 2 . You can fit 2people and a case in each families get split up. If you have a pram they can just about get in. There is a maid lift through the fire doors but you have to make sure the fire door is open on your floor to use it. The lifts smell and are dirty. This is not 3 rate I would give it 2. What is expected from a three star British slanted hotel bit thought the food was dire. Yes i know its not five star but I didn't expect five star. Food ingredients and low quality and yes you can say there was chicken pork gammon etc but its low quality to start with. I've seen thicker bacon than the gammon and some serving staff just dont want to be there. Then theres the cooking and I speak from 35 years in catering. You're supposed to know when foods cooked and then stop not continually keep cooking it until its dry or burnt. Every potato was fried and some of the vegetables were dripping in oil. I plucked up the courage to try and English sausage today and it was the poorest quality I've ever come across needless to say it hit the bin. Having said that the food on Chinese night wasn't bad.
