‏excellent resort, Room is spacious Breakfast buffet was massive with lots of options and varieties.

This is my third visit to this hotel and my fifth to Sri Lanka. This is a very lovely hotel which I would highly recommend. The rooms are spacious and clean. The menu in the dining room is generous, varied and beautifully cooked. You can eat Sri Lankan food or a variety of western or other Asian dishes. The chefs are always willing to adapt or prepare something special. The pool is large with areas to suit all ages and abilities. There is also an additional quiet pool. Evening entertainment varies. There is a selection of good quality bands, opportunities for dancing and some very eccentric comedy sketches in the biweekly theatre show! During the day the animation staff provide games and entertainment. It would be nice to have more Sri Lanka culture/dance/music. But there very best feature of this hotel is the staff! They are brilliant. Always friendly and helpful. Everyone has time to talk to you and will go out of their way to help you. We got a terrific welcome back and were made to feel at home instantly. We were looked after and appreciated from the moment we walked in! The manager called 'Yappa' is excellent and I could name endless staff throughout the hotel for their hard work, consideration and kindness. A couple of possible useful tips: 1. Booking trips with the major tours companies is expensive. We suggest you use someone local. We have used 'Emmanual Tours' which is just up the road. He has a little shop as well as a tuk tuk and a tour van. Emmanuel has been a tour guide for 32 years and his father had the business before. His prices are the cheapest and he gives you the full tour experience and will adapt to your needs. We had a wonderful time with him and met his lovely family. Highly recommended. 2. If your are considering buying jewellery, be careful. There are lots of fake stones and gold/silver. Only go to a reputable jeweller. But also be aware that tour guides are given commission for bringing customers even to high end jewellers. I highly recommend 'Khiards' in the hotel. Their work is handmade, genuine and no middlemen are paid. Excellent prices and service. We will definitely be returning.

It was an amazing holiday. It was short but fabulous. Staff was incredibly friendly. They were provided their services from bottom of their heart. Every single smile we had from them was heartfelt. Foods were delicious and spotless variety. Rooms were spacious, clean and renovated. Specially have mentioned naduni and her hospitable, professional service.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Great service and a lovely experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend this place and would be happy to visit again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent value for money We’ve had a really pleasant stay and, considering what you pay, I’d definitely give this hotel 5 stars. Service & Staff — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service has been impeccable throughout our stay. The team do a great job of getting both children and adults involved in activities such as darts and volleyball, while also respecting those who would rather relax and not participate. The animation team are great, and there are plenty of poolside staff who are consistently friendly and helpful. Pradeep deserves a special mention for being particularly friendly and attentive. Hotel & Rooms — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel has been clean throughout our stay, and the rooms are serviced frequently. Everything has been well maintained, which has made the stay very comfortable. Food & Drinks — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There’s a good selection of quality Sri Lankan dishes and curries, which have been some of the highlights of the food. Some of the Western options weren’t quite as good, although I think that’s to be expected to some extent when travelling abroad. The main downside was that some drinks were unavailable for parts of our stay, which was disappointing. However, a great touch is that the hotel freshly picks and uses its own coconuts for some of the drinks. Overall — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, it’s been a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The friendly staff, cleanliness, activities and particularly the value for money really stand out. There are a few small areas that could be improved, but for what you pay, I’d be happy giving this hotel 5 stars.
