Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon

An excellent place to relax and enjoy with the family. The environment, the beach, the food, and the amenities were greate.

I do have to preface and say that the treatment of the turtles at the beach at the end of the hotel was deeply upsetting. They were treated abhorrently with local vendors luring them to the shore with tourists consequently crowding them while stepping, kicking and falling onto them. These certain locals were ignorant and laughed off my concerns despite clear signage and policy where the turtles are not to be fed or touched. I therefore implore anyone visiting to educate themselves about these sweet turtles and please do not touch or feed them because, despite what they may tell you, it truly is detrimental to their species. The hotel: - Excellent proximity to beach - Calm atmosphere with a nice pool - Rooms are nice but a bit outdated - Excellent value for money as it isn’t too expensive - It is a relatively clean hotel although it could be improved some of the tech such as the dehumidifiers are outdated and leak often - Service, however, is top tier. The staff are very helpful and attentive. Viraj was especially helpful for us and gave us a lot of info on Hikkaduwa as a whole. - Amenities are great with a dental kit, feminine hygiene kit (which you don’t see often!) and many others - The food at dinner could be improved with some more options however the breakfast is excellent and one of the best i’ve seen.

Good foods and good searvis hotel staf

I recently spent two wonderful days at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel's beachfront location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and easy access to the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The food was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious local and international dishes available at every meal. The pool area was well maintained and provided a perfect place to unwind while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway in Hikkaduwa and would gladly return for another stay in the future.

Our 3 day stay at Hikka Tranz was wonderful! Even more than the amenities hotel had to offer, the staff made our stay unforgettable. They were very professional, helpful, friendly and polite at all times. Ravindu at the Front Desk went out of the way to make our checkin smooth as it could be. Also, Renuka at the main restaurant and Prabath from Housekeeping did a terrific job each and every time. All the staff we engaged with (or even passed by) treated us with a smile at all times. Great location and wonderful people!
