Katathani Phuket Beach Resort

Quite simply, this is an awesome hotel and complex for families and couples. Lovely, clean, modern spacious rooms (we stayed in the Thani wing), fantastic breakfast options, superb selection of pools for adults and children (the children water facilities are excellent) and super friendly and helpful staff (special thank you to staff members Com, Beer and Bee!) Dotted around the hotel complex are restaurants with Thai and Western options that look like they are independent businesses, but in fact they are all part of the same complex. Cleverly done. And to top it all off you have excellent access to a large, clean beach and the beautiful warm waters of the Andaman Sea. I'm missing this place quite badly already and can't wait to return with my family!

Never a 5 Star, dont be fooled!!! Everything very cheap, furniture, rooms. At check in it was manic, loads of people trying to check in at once, rooms not ready in time. This isnt your typical 5 star resort, its more to a standard of a 2 or 3 star!!

We arrived at Katathani after an exhausting journey with flight delays and a long drive, only to discover a frustrating setback, our booking agency had accidentally reserved the wrong room type for our family of four. From the moment we walked in, the entire front desk team was warm and welcoming. When we brought the issue to Nadda, the reception manager, she handled everything with exceptional empathy and professionalism. She immediately put us at ease, told us not to worry, and took charge of finding a solution. Shortly after, she arranged a much larger room that comfortably accommodated our entire family with no extra fees. The genuine care and hospitality we experienced was incredible. Special thanks to Pearly from the reception desk for seamlessly guiding us to our new room, as well as Com and Tiw from the team for their outstanding service. Nadda and her team went above and beyond to turn a stressful situation into a wonderful stay for our family. We are truly grateful!

This is our 3rd visit, highly recommended as a relaxing holiday destination. . The resort has many fantastic places to eat with a wide varity available. The resort has seveal pools and facilities ranging from family and childrens play spaces to the adults only pool and quiet zones. So there is something for everyone. The staff are excellent, and go the exta mikecto make it a spcial holiday. Transport is easy and reasonably priced, book your airport pick-up when you book, they'll take care of the rest, waitingvupon arrical so you can relax.

What a wonderful 9 nights here in Aug 26, family from Australia had been before but it was my first visit and I loved every minute. The staff are incredible and always made a fuss of my young nieces. The choice for food and drinks was amazing and the resort itself is stunning. Highly recommend and will def be back
