Moracea by Khao Lak Resort

A wonderful hotel. Very welcoming, consistently excellent food, excellent standards of cleanliness and beautiful grounds. Location was ideal-a short walk to shops and restaurants.

A Truly Amazing Hotel What an amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived, every member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The service was exceptional, and nothing was ever too much trouble. As I have recently had a knee replacement and still have some mobility issue we were incredibly grateful to receive a complimentary room upgrade. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and had everything we could possibly need — from flip-flops and an umbrella to essential toiletries, luxurious bathrobes, pool towels and even a gorgeous wicker bag to carry everything around the resort. One of the things that really stood out was the fantastic buggy service. The golf buggies were available 24/7 and just a call away, which made getting around the hotel so easy and stress-free. The food was another highlight. We genuinely couldn’t fault it, especially the incredible selection of fresh produce at breakfast. There was so much choice, and everything was beautifully prepared. A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our stay so special. We honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and would return in a heartbeat! ❤️🌴✨

A fantastic family stay – something for everyone We had a fantastic stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort and would definitely recommend it. There were 13 of us staying as a family, including seven children aged between 10 and 17, and the resort worked brilliantly for all of us. The kids were never bored and absolutely loved the pools and beach. The resort itself is in a beautiful setting, right on an amazing beach, with lovely pools and tropical grounds. We spent quite a few days sightseeing and exploring the area, so it was perfect to have the pools and beach to enjoy on the days in between. It’s a lovely place to simply relax and switch off. The location was also ideal for us. There are plenty of lovely restaurants and bars within a short walk of the resort, and Bang Niang Market is only a short taxi ride away. We had a fantastic night there – lots of street food, drinks, shopping and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit while staying in Khao Lak. What really stood out for us were the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to Cindy, Bee, Sun and Nino on the reception team, who were always friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. I also celebrated my birthday during our stay and the hotel made it really special. At breakfast I was surprised with a cake and candle while the staff sang Happy Birthday, which was such a lovely touch. When we returned to our room, the bed had also been decorated with flowers, leaves and a Happy Birthday message. It was completely unexpected and really showed the extra effort the staff go to for their guests. Breakfast had a great selection each morning and the whole resort was well maintained with a really relaxed atmosphere. Moracea was a brilliant base for our family holiday – we could go out and explore Khao Lak and the surrounding area, but equally enjoyed the days when we didn’t leave the resort at all. Beautiful beach, fantastic pools, a great location and genuinely lovely people. Thank you for making our family holiday, and my birthday, so memorable. We would happily return! 🌴☀️

We had a fantastic time at the Moracea. All staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much. The welcome you receive was lovely and our room was amazing with fantastic views. Food was good and drinks were great. Location was 10 mins to shops and bars but recommend a taxi to night market/ main town as it’s quite a walk. Bolt and grab not great a Koh lak as there not many of them. Sea very rough when we were there but much calmer further north. I lived the wildlife around the hotel as you never knew what was around the corner 🤣🦎🕷️ Special mention to Cindy on reception as she was very helpful and gave me and my friend a lovely little key ring 🐘. Would highly recommend this hotel x

My husband and I came here for my belated 40th birthday and what a beautiful hotel and setting. It literally feels like paradise! Just a short walk to the strip there was lots of choice of places to eat and lots of shops too. Our room was beautiful with a lovely view looking out to the sea. All the staff were all amazing especially Sun, Bee, Arm and Cindy. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Great value for money.
