Phuket Graceland Resort and Spa

The hotel is beautiful and the reception mitz, Paul and prae is very very helpful and good persons.

Positive - Good location being beachfront. Great breakfast with plenty of choices to suit everyone. Negative - WiFi around pool non existent. Noisy corridors, could hear everyone just walking by, and if they spoke it was like they were next to you. Guests allowed to play their own music whilst sunbathing, some loud and not very relaxing. Pool area very tired, water features and Jacuzzis didn't work, broken tiles all along pool walls.

I stayed at Graceland Hotel Phuket for 10 nights in a Deluxe Room. Overall, there were some things I really appreciated, but also several areas where I felt the hotel could improve, especially considering its 5-star rating. What I liked: * Housekeeping: The housekeepers were kind, friendly, and did a great job cleaning the room. This was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. * Security: I felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. * Location: The location is convenient and made it easy for us to get around and enjoy Phuket. What could be improved: 1. Bed and storage space The beds were quite small for a couple. Since we were on our honeymoon, we often ended up accidentally kicking each other during the night. The closet was also too small for a 10-night stay, so we had to keep a lot of our clothes around the room. When we mentioned this to reception, we were told that all rooms have the same bed size, even if we upgraded. For longer stays, I think larger beds and more storage would make a big difference. 2. Unpleasant smells Unfortunately, the hotel had some noticeable unpleasant smells. There are fish ponds on the way to the lobby that sometimes smelled quite bad. Also, on the way from our room to the restaurant, we had to pass near the kitchen range hood, where the cooking smells were quite strong and unpleasant. 3. Food variety For a 5-star hotel, I expected a greater variety of food options. The selection was somewhat disappointing and didn’t quite meet my expectations for a hotel of this category. 4. Noise between rooms The soundproofing could definitely be improved. There was very little voice isolation, and we could clearly hear conversations from people walking past our room. This could be quite disturbing, especially at night. 5. The hotel needs renovation The hotel itself feels quite old in some areas, particularly the doors and windows. I saw one side of the property has been renovated and feels newer, but other areas are showing their age. A more extensive renovation would make the hotel feel much more like a modern 5-star property. Overall: We appreciated the friendly housekeeping staff, security, and convenient location, but there are several areas that need improvement. For a 10-night stay, the small bed, limited storage, unpleasant smells, noise insulation, food variety, and older facilities became quite noticeable. I hope the hotel considers renovating the older areas and improving these aspects in the future.

Graceland needs to improve on its Breakfast Buffet - Rice is quite hard , Bacon is overcooked or too Crispy, Curry so so. But Omelette is great. Hope the Chef / Restaurant Manager look into these issues to further improve. Otherwise, Graceland hotel facilities are great for families to enjoy & relax. Hope to come back again in 2027.
