I had a lovely experience at KANPAI Japanese Restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. Special thanks to K’Maprang, Kwang, Mook, Game, and Toto for their warm welcome and excellent service. They were friendly, helpful, and made the dining experience enjoyable. I really enjoyed the food and would be happy to visit again. Highly recommended!

This hotel has a very good selection of food and drinks available from a wide variety of bars and restaurants. We were on the all-inclusive plan for 6 nights and there were always new things to eat and try - the bubble waffles were a particular highlight! Mam was very kind to my girls at the Pool Bar and Again was always welcoming and offered great service. The food at both the Thai and Japanese restaurants was delicious and Rainbow was very attentive at the Japanese. My husband and I were lucky enough to grab a spot on a free morning massage workshop at the spa with Ta. She gave us a fabulous experience and was very kind and patient with our attempts! The massage services offered on the beach were a wonderful option for an authentic and very good value Thai massage experience (400 baht for an hour massage). The hotel itself is very large and could feel crowded at times. Whilst the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, due to its large size it lacked the personal feel we have experienced at other, smaller hotels. However we recognise that the hotels size also means that it is able to offer a wider range of food and activities so it all depends on what you are looking for from a hotel and holiday. If you are after a huge pool, wide selection of food and drink and activities this hotel is fabulous. If you want a smaller, more personal, quieter experience then this hotel may not be for you.

We were married at Merlin Beach in April this year and the whole occasion was absolutely fabulous. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Our wedding planner, Mai, was amazing. She thought of everything and helped the whole day run so smoothly. She was so helpful throughout and made sure everything was exactly as we had imagined. I didn’t get the chance to thank her properly at the time, but I really wanted to say how amazing she was. She made such a difference to our day. The location was beautiful and the set-up was perfect. The band, flowers, photographer and all the little details were exactly what we wanted. Our guests all had an amazing time too, which was really important to us. The food was absolutely delicious and we were really impressed with how well they catered for all the different dietary requirements in our group, including vegan, coeliac and nut allergies. Everyone was looked after and there was never any worry about what people could eat. We stayed at the hotel the day before and the day after the wedding as well, and the hotel was fabulous. It was lovely having everyone together and being able to make a few days of it rather than just having the wedding day itself. We also had drinks with our guests at the Rum Shack on the beach the day before and the day after, which was fab. It was such a relaxed way to spend time together and meant the celebrations didn’t just start and finish with the wedding. Overall, we really couldn’t fault anything. Everything was so well organised, the staff were lovely and the whole experience was better than we could have hoped for. We would 100% recommend Merlin Beach for a wedding. We only wish we could do it all again! ❤️

My family and I absolutely loved our holiday. All the staff were super kind, helpful, welcoming and friendly. Especially the lounge staff: Milky, Sivi, Palmy, Tod and pool staff member Teddy. Thank you for making our holiday amazing and welcoming us into your hotel ❤️ We will definitely be back ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach and would definitely come back again! The location was great, close enough to Patong Beach without being right in the middle of all the noise. The resort itself was very quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated. The rooms and facilities were clean and well maintained, and our rooms overlooking the pool/pool-access rooms were especially nice. The only downside was that it could be quite a long walk to get to the rooms, but once there, they were worth it. Breakfast was great with lots of options, and we really enjoyed the dinner as it was a seafood buffet. The Sunday roast buffet at Beach Grill was a little underwhelming for us, but the room service food was really good. And the ice cream deserves its own mention 10/10! 🍦😂 For families, this resort is fantastic. The kids absolutely loved the kids’ club and kids’ pool, and the little touches such as children’s amenities, robes and slippers were adorable and really thoughtful. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and despite it being a family friendly resort, our stay was surprisingly peaceful with no noise issues at all. Overall, great value, a lovely atmosphere, beautiful facilities and a very enjoyable family stay. We would happily stay here again!
