Aonang Villa Resort

We arrived on Friday 28th August and stayed 2 weeks- the the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome - Our rooms were on the top floor looking out to the sea AMAZING view - we were B&B the Breakfast choice was perfect for us plenty to choose from and all very fresh and well presented again the staff were fantastic smiling all the time and helpful. Location is superb the beach directly in front - the main hub of Aonang is there for you to enjoy and explore, beach and the sunsets are something else :) Great for longboat trips to next door Railay beach and cheap to get too. We did a 4 island tour and also had booked ourselves before we came to the hotel a 2 night stay away on Ko Yao Yai (that was AMAZING too) we needed all our transfers booked whilst in Aonang so we used Horizon (situated in the hotel) we could have booked this at the many booths in Aonang but used the hotels service which again I can highly recommend to use nothing was too much trouble and the covered all our needs very organised and informative staff. The tour for the 4 islands we went by speedboat just the 4 of us and had our own tour guide who told us loads on the islands we toured (Kim was our tour guide). The hotel is having some work done to up grade part of the hotel but this didn't affect our holiday in any way. Bedrooms were very spacious and clean with everything you need, comfortable beds too. I would highly recommend the restaurant to dine food again superb and very reasonable prices too. Explore aonang and surrounding areas and eating out was great didn't have one bad meal the whole trip. We will be back to explore more of what this area of Thailand has to offer as it has loads. Just back from an epic family holiday to Thailand; Aonang Villa Resort was stunning on every level. Lovely spacious clean rooms with a view out onto the pool which was a daily delight for us and the kids. The breakfast is worth travelling to Thailand for in itself - an endless buffet of world cuisine and fresh tropical fruit. This hotel is ideal for families as it's so close to the bustle of the town but is a peaceful retreat with spacious facilities and beautiful grounds, trees and flowers ( plus the rather charming resident monitor lizards !) The staff are extremely friendly and professional - this was a 5 star ⭐ experience - we felt especially lucky to be here during the 'rainy season' where we had wall to wall sunshine.

We stayed here for 4 nights and wish it could have been longer. The staff were so friendly, the girls on reception were wonderful greeting you as you walked past. Our room was very nice but possibly a bit dated and smelt musty, the air con worked pretty well, had to turn it down at times. The room was serviced daily which was excellent and did a lovely job. The breakfast had so much to choose from and very nice. We ate twice in house and was ok both times. The pool was fantastic, best to get there late morning we found then it started filling up. Next time if/ when we come back will come out of kids school holidays. Proximity was fantastic to shops, restaurants just outside. Yes we would come back!

Really disappointing, I'm booked to go here with my partner and 2 children, next week, one is 16 years. They are trying to charge near 800 pounds to have connecting rooms, despite already paying for 2 rooms. They did not say this when 1st booking, other than contact us closer to arrival.

This is amazing. The staff is so friendly and the peace here is never heard of before… Breakfast is amazing with new things everyday, fresh and delicious. The people in the reception goes a long way to make it an amazing holiday. The wiew from the hotel is AMAZING. We are not lucky with the weather, but we came for peace, calm and thaifood… and a 7/11 right next door… we got everything and more🙏🙏🙏 Pay a little more and get a upgrade on the room, that is money well spent. We will FOR SURE return to this AMAZING hotel with the perfect location, staff and environment
