Just back from a week here, mixed review Had 2 bookings, family of 3 and single person - hotel offered us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment which was a nice touch Apartment was quite far from pools, restaurants etc, also close to outer road so music was very loud at night Apartment was big, air con great in twin room and lounge but poor in main bedroom Dated rooms, poor grout work etc as you’d expect Kitchen had a fridge freezer and 2 burner hob but that’s it, I’d read reviews so brought our own kettle and mugs 2 full days in and we were so bored of the food, never had that with an all inclusive before and was regretting our booking at this point, bathrooms by pools were always disgusting. Some times loo roll was present, some times not, same for hand soap and paper towels but quite often there was poo smeared on walls and floors as well as the bum guns leaking / left in the midst of poop Cash machine never worked, we didn’t take any English money so found it tough for a few days, especially when some outside restaurants didn’t take card - eventually managed to get cash however Redeeming the stay was the guests, we met some amazing guests who made our stay so much fun, to the extent that we only left the hotel for our evening meal, the days passed so quickly The entertainment team are amazing, they work so hard, are all lovely people and will do anything to help you, make your stay as good as possible - shout out to Jo (Shemar Moore lookalike) and Joseph! If you had a complaint about anything, all of the staff would do their best to fix it asap - pool toilets is a parenting issue much more than a hotel issue, but I do feel a toilet monitor would be helpful, precious hotel in Tunisia had this and we never experienced dirty toilets. Pools, they are much smaller than you expect so feel quite busy a lot of the time but never unbearable Lots of sun beds but to get decent ones you are getting up quite early to put towels down. Started the holiday thinking never again, ended the hotel thinking yes we would come back here!

Entertainment team were amazing - late night entertainment different every single night. Joe was lovely and always happy. Tunisian night food was absolutely lovely and entertainment team got everyone up dancing. Only issue of the hotel was no working cash point and closest one was half hour away.

We booked this hotel as we were told that it would be a luxurious, relaxing, high-end getaway with stunning beaches. The online reviews seemed to support this, leading us to believe we were in for a premium experience. However, the reality was the most disappointing and, at times, traumatic holiday we have ever endured. A member of the Entertainment team asked us to write a positive review of the hotel whilst he watched, which we refused to do. Reception and Service The reception staff were horrendous—brutally rude and arrogant. One staff member in particular, a member of staff, whose name I regret not taking, openly laughed at and mocked us when we sought help. We required assistance several times throughout our stay, and his behaviour was consistently vile. Upon checking in, we were simply handed a list of restaurants. There was no map or general information provided, nor were we asked if we wanted to book any à la carte dining. When we returned the next morning to request a booking at the Italian restaurant, the staff member laughed and told us they were fully booked for weeks, offering neither an apology nor an explanation. We were forced to play a frustrating game of guessing dates and venues until he finally "managed" to slot us into the Tunisian restaurant for our final night. Due to a delayed luggage issue, we had to spend three days trying get help and the hotel staff showed zero interest in assisting or showing any empathy. We were forced to take a taxi to the airport later in the week to collect delayed luggage, which we asked the reception staff to help arrange; we were significantly overcharged for the fare and had to argue for three days just to get a receipt for our insurance claim. It was incredibly stressful. Hotel Location and Grounds On paper, the location sounds incredible—nestled within the medina with multiple pools and restaurants. In practice, it is chaotic. The hotel layout is sprawling and non-contained, meaning you frequently walk through public, non-hotel spaces. Loud music blares until the early hours, and the lack of signage or staff guidance makes navigation nearly impossible. The Beach We were eager to visit the beach, but the reality was appalling. While there is a private hotel section, we were never informed of the shuttle bus and had to find the 15-minute walking route ourselves. The private beach area, owned by the hotel, was filthy, littered with rubbish and broken glass. I only ventured into the water once, as it was infested with jellyfish; I was stung three times in minutes. The beach bar was equally disappointing, offering only basic soft drinks and beer with very limited food options. Pool Facilities The hotel advertises three outdoor pools, but we could only locate two for the first few days. The small pool near reception was quiet but had almost no loungers; getting towels from the elusive lifeguard there was a challenge. The larger "entertainment" pool was disgusting—slimy and full of hair. Loungers there were claimed instantly, and the noise from the relentless entertainment program was exhausting. We finally discovered the third pool (the saltwater pool) halfway through our trip. It was clean and peaceful, but our relief was short-lived; the following day, it was completely drained. It remained closed until our final day with no explanation provided. We were forced back to the unhygienic entertainment pool as the beach was too dangerous. There is an indoor pool & fitness centre but the pool was padlocked and closed throughout. We didn’t visit the fitness centre or the spa as we had no idea where it was or how to access it. Dining and Surroundings If you can find the restaurants, the food is actually quite good. There is a decent selection, and the wait staff were friendly (usually after receiving a tip). The restaurant above the reception is much more pleasant than the courtyard buffet. The à la carte experience was mediocre. We struggled to find the Tunisian restaurant due to the total lack of directions. The food was essentially the same as the buffet, just served to you in a set menu format without any choice of dishes. There is a snack bar by the seawater pool that does burgers, paninis, pasta, pizza & crepes. The pizzas were nice. The Burgers & Paninis are terrible and cold. Crepes were ok, but you can’t get these until later in the day. The staff were quite abrupt and unfriendly. Hotel Room We booked a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony or terrace. While the apartment itself was spacious, it was incredibly basic. Our "terrace" felt more like a prison cell—four high walls with windows overlooking it, a run-down table and chairs, and broken pipes with water constantly running down the walls. The air conditioning was poor and provided very little comfort. On a more positive note, the room did include a small fridge and a kettle. One of the few highlights was the cleaning staff, who did a consistently good job maintaining our room. The noise from the medina was excessive with music playing all through the night. Wifi was weak but did work in a few areas. Evening Entertainment & Bars The entertainment team works exceptionally hard, maintaining high energy and welcoming smiles despite long hours. While they were successful at encouraging guest participation in dances and games, some of the routines involving young children were wildly inappropriate. The evening shows we attended were mediocre and lacked excitement. In contrast to the reception staff, the bar staff were consistently friendly and provided unlimited bottled water. However, the all-inclusive drink options were subpar; the beer was weak and the cocktails were poorly made. Interestingly, the premium cocktails available for purchase were very good, making it all the more frustrating that they weren't included in the package. The Surrounding Area We ventured outside the Medina walls for the evening only once. The area is filled with tacky horse carriages and pushy vendors who refuse to take "no" for an answer. It is dirty, covered in litter, and the noise levels are overwhelming. We resolved never to leave the hotel grounds again until our departure. This was far from the high-end experience we were promised. Waterpark Although you can use the Waterpark & theme park once a day for free, we only managed to get to the Waterpark once. It was so busy and not very clean. A used feminine hygiene product floated past us in the wave pool area! There is a private section reserved for hotel guests which we were relieved to find ourselves as all other areas are crowded. We didn't stay for very long. The food options are limited and have to be paid for. You can't take any food or drink in with you, our water was confiscated at the entrance. I would definitely recommend not booking this hotel if you are wanting a well earned & relaxing holiday, we spent way more than we normally would to have a much needed break and we are so upset with the hotel & experience.

Where do I start! Airport ok got through quite quickly. We travelled in the dark so don’t have a view of the landscape at this point. Arrived in Yasmine Hammamet, first thought Alton towers crossed with Blackpool. Even before we got to the hotel bus was pulled over by police due to bus driver not doing as he was told. Our rep got out the bus and had a cigarette and gave us no information on what was happening or any reassurance we were safe. Finally got to hotel initially very excited as it looks really nice and a girl in a castle is always a dream. Reception ok very busy. Staff rushed. We had 3 rooms for a week. 1st room given half ceiling missing back to reception to change rooms to receive a room with no bed linen fridge which should have been condemned, safe didn’t work and air conditioning unit gave us an extra surprise by providing a swimming pool on the floor Room 2 safe not working no twin beds as requested Room 3 ok All 3 rooms were put in the loudest busiest area with music on until 5am so no sleep We told reception we needed to be moved, fobbed off for 2 days. Finally I refused to leave reception until I spoke to management. Finally got moved and new rooms were a lot better. 3 pools, 1 was full of suntan lotion and another was shut half way through the week with no explication. Food ok but if you have dietary requirements do not eat there same spoon and fork for different meats and fish. Some food wasn’t labelled and couldn’t work out what it was. Staff super helpful and recommended girls didn’t go out of the hotel on their own due to being hassled by local men. Beach was lovely and the walk to the harbour was nice. Flight home was very welcome Overall would not go back to Tunisia particularly this hotel and area. I have stayed in countries with a similar economy but this was the worst for just basic hygiene in restaurants and basic amenities If you do decide to stay in this area highly recommend the rovers return mix of lovely international food and not the cheapest but worth a visit

Diar Lemdina is absolutely fantastic, everyone is so kind. The entertainment team have made our stay incredible. The energy of the hotel and its team has kept us so engaged every second of the day. Definitely a must-stay hotel.
