TUI BLUE Scheherazade

Hi Are you open before April ? I see you are advertising on German sites but cannot find how to book with you before that . What months are you open ?

Holiday was off to a bad start with a just under 3 hour delay from Gatwick, we had prebooked for an early check in which the hotel still charged us for despite everyone arriving on the delayed flight receiving their rooms at the same time on arrival. Swim up room 118 was very nice, sunny in the mornings, it was a long walk to get anywhere but good for the step count! Bathroom has a large glass door so when you put the light on at night the whole room lights up, they could just put a door on which would be much better. First Tui Blue we have been to that had nothing in the mini bar, only water which we thought was poor. Our housekeeper was friendly and did a very good job, in fact all the staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean overall. We did not use the main pool, too crowded, sunbeds are too close together and anyway all the beds were gone by the time we got up, on the one occasion my husband was up early at 5am he said he saw people going down with towels. The same for the courtyard pool all beds go early. We didnt see anyone removing towels even though the hotel say you cannot reserve beds. In the afternoons we went to the beach, plenty of beds available there and the beach guy had no qualms about removing mattresses if no one turned up for them, to give to someone else if they were left for hours. Made entertaining watching. It was evident some had beds at the main pool and on the beach and it looked like he soon realised that. Food was very good, catered well for my dietary requirements with separate gf/vegan areas although I was glad I took my own bread for toast. Culinarium was excellent. Didnt find the restaurant very relaxing, very busy, too many stations and people darting about going from one to another, the local Tunisian food in the centre looked lovely on occasion but was uncovered and so many people wandering past it, coughing, hair flowing etc, no wonder no one ate it. Limited places to walk in the evening which we also didnt like much, just a long busy main road although it seemed safe to walk around. We don't really do evening entertainment so couldn't really comment on that but the entertainment team clearly worked very hard day and evening and definitely tried to include all guests. There are a lot of returning guests some of whom think this means they should get priority service. Though I cant believe the staff ‘remember’ all these guests and it is obvious on occasion they don't but are very good actors. All in all a lovely hotel, lovely staff and we had a great holiday, we would return.

We have just returned from this hotel and we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is lovely and clean All staff are helpful and kind Food is plentiful and varied Pool is warm Beach is next to you with sunbeds Waiter service at both pool and beach Rooms although on the small side have anything you need and are cleaned everyday Evening entertainment was good for a TUI Blue resort The Entertainment Team are the best we have ever had! They get everyone involved and have a chat with everyone every day. There are lots of activities during the day if that’s your thing. We’ve never done so many high fives in our lives! 😂 Can honestly say we will return, loved every minute ❤️

First time in Tunisia and we thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at this beautiful hotel..everything was perfect..what makes it such a special place is the staff..every single staff member smiles and seems happy to be there and to see you..special mention to Neila our beautiful smiley maid..what a joy she is...Nezir our waiter for lunch/dinner, his motto is 'happy happy..always happy' Lokti our morning waiter who is caring and loves to hug... and of course Azziz (sorry if spelt wrong) in the animation team..a bundle of joy and mischief and you can't help but smile when he's around..i hope he's still there when we return but wish him well in Uni for his cinematography degree..many more staff who are fantastic but too many to mention by name. Food is unbelievable here, the chefs work hard to create amazing delicious Tunisian dishes and i enjoyed them all. Our room (318) was perfect, sea view beyond the pretty gardens..bed comfy and lots of storage space. One little niggle..i do think there should be one branded alcohol choice....as in a branded gin, vodka, brandy, whisky etc..the local stuff is very weak and not that nice..we've been to many 4/5* hotels where there's always one branded choice...beer is nice but needs to be colder..the wines were lovely and the Scheherzade spritz is a lovely cocktail....also the iced tea is delicious. Anyway..book it, you won't regret it and we can't wait to return. Thank you to all at this beautiful hotel for making our stay so lovely.

It was our 1st time here and we had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and throughout the holiday they were so friendly, helpful and caring. The food was excellent, great variety and very tasty! The rooms are on the small side but more than adequate and the housekeeping is excellent. All rooms have a sea view. Plenty of daytime activities if you want to join in. Evening entertainment is ok with plenty of areas to sit and relax. We loved the private beach especially having an area for non smokers! One of the best hotels we have stayed in and will definetly be returning in the near future!
