TUI BLUE Scheherazade

Thank you to everyone at the hotel from managers to cleaners we had a brilliant holiday and had so much fun thank you to the bar staff , the staff at rhea’s cafe life guards who were always helpful and a special mention to the entertainment team specially luca and aziz who made our holiday so special from start to finish always with a smile and went the extra mile to interact with the guests love them both and not forgetting the cleaner who cleans the restaurant and toilets always smiling does a lovely job all our love to everyone from Bernie and mark aziz wake up !! 😂😂

Just back from a fabulous week at this hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday. What can I say that hasn't already been said. The hotel is beautiful, well laid out and kept spotlessly clean by the hard working staff. The food was excellent with plenty of choice to cater for all tastes. We had room 800 which had an incredible sea view where we would watch the sunrise every morning. Other reviews have mentioned the rooms are small but this was more than big enough for us. The entertainment programme is superb and we particularly enjoyed the silent disco, karaoke and "chance to dance" in the evening. During the day we loved the activities, especially aqua aerobics, cornhole toss and french boules. Without doubt the best thing about the hotel is its amazing staff. From the waiters in the restaurant, the cleaners and receptionists to the entertainment team and barmen at the pool and courtyard (evening) , every single one of them goes out of their way to ensure you're having a great holiday. We have been to other hotels in Portugal, the Canary Islands, Greece etc etc but none of them come close to the welcome, service and attentiveness shown by the staff at TUI BLUE Scheherazade. After our first day, we had made our minds up that we don't need to go anywhere else in future and, much like several other guests we spoke to, we will keep coming back here. Nice hotel, you won’t get a sunbed round the main pool unless you get up super early! We didn’t bother. Nice sunbeds on the Sandy beach with hotel staff bringing new Drinks frequently. Restaurant is nice, a bit crowded for the amount of visitors, you won’t get a good table unless you tip the waiter before.. As it’s a hot country, there are lots of flies around the dining area and on the food, difficult to stop of course but quite off putting.

This hotel is fabulous I would highly recommend it, we left this week and are already looking forward to returning, all the staff are wonderful, the hotel spotless and the food is excellent, this was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint, we will definitely be returning for many more years

As soon as we arrived , we were welcomed by the porter and our waiter from the restaurant Nizar who remembered us from last year , we knew then that this is truly a special hotel. Felt like coming home, all the team are so lovely and enjoy interacting with all the guests. The rooms are compact but have everything you need, including lots of hangers in the wardrobe and such an amazing view , so enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise,beautiful way to start the day! The food is the best I've had at an AI hotel, so much choice with themed nights, really enjoyed the Tunisian night and great to have so many different types of cuisine to choose from, plus freshly cooked pizza and pasta if you want that.The desserts are delicious and were beautifully presented. The beach is golden sand but we preferred to be by the pool.There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone and all the team work so hard from the lovely guy who brought out mattresses and the bar guy who was so attentive looking after everyone. Really enjoyed the aqua and watching the water polo in the pool and evening entertainment is very good. What makes this hotel really special is ALL the staff who work there, from our amazing cleaner , all the bar and restaurant staff to the management, the helpful Shayma, they work so hard to make your holiday memorable,do acknowledge this by tipping them , its not expected but they are worth it. A special mention to Nizar who is truly a lovely man, always smiling, who looks after everyone so well,he even arranged to decorate our table for my birthday, which was so kind of him.Also the amazing Ala in Thea's bar , he remembered us too from last year and he is brilliant, how he manages to remember everyones order of drinks each night is impressive and he even made me a few special cocktails which I really appreciated. After chatting to Ismail,my birthday twin , I treated myself to a Californian massage.It was amazing, Linda , the masseuse was so lovely and it was honestly one of the best massages i've ever had!And so reasonable, just wished I had the time to have another one . If you want to go somewhere where you are treated like royalty in beautiful surroundings with amazing people, this is the place for you! Will definitely return to this gem of a hotel. Anne and Michael
