Barut Hemera, Side Antalya – We traveled here as a family of 7, and from the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single detail was flawless. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a place where every team member treats you like family, and it stands out above anywhere else we’ve stayed in Turkey or abroad. Arrival & Reception: From our first step out of the car, the reception team welcomed us with warm smiles, refreshing drinks, and lightning-fast check-in—no long waits even with our large group. They were polite, attentive, and made sure our rooms were perfectly prepared, close together, and exactly what we requested. Professionalism and kindness set the tone straight away. Guest Relations & Management: The Guest Relations team were absolutely amazing—always available, friendly, and quick to help with every question or small request we had, whether it was arranging transport, recommending spots, or adjusting reservations. We even got to meet the hotel managers, who took genuine time to ask how our stay was going, walk around the grounds, and ensure every guest felt valued—you can clearly see strong, caring leadership here. Kiddies Club & Kids’ Facilities: The kids’ club was an absolute highlight for our children! The staff there are wonderful—so patient, energetic, and genuinely caring with every child. They organize brilliant, creative activities every day—games, crafts, and fun events that kept the kids entertained, safe, and smiling from morning till evening. The space is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed so parents can relax completely knowing their little ones are happy and in great hands. Dining & Restaurant Staff: The food was delicious—varied, fresh, high quality for all ages and tastes—but what made it special was the restaurant team. Every server was polite, cheerful, and remembered our preferences day after day. They moved quickly, kept tables spotless, and made every meal feel like a celebration for our big family. Nothing was too much trouble. Bars, Gardens & Cleanliness: Bar staff were fantastic—friendly, skilled, and served great drinks with a smile, even when busy. The gardeners keep the entire hotel looking like paradise: immaculate grounds, beautiful flowers, perfectly kept green spaces everywhere you look. And the cleaning team deserve huge praise—our rooms were spotless, refreshed daily, tidy and well-maintained throughout our stay. For a family of 7 with different ages and needs, we felt safe, relaxed, and completely looked after. There are a few people that I would like to mention that we have built a fantastic relationship with with and they are always willing to go that extra mile for their guests - İzzet Bekir (Main General Hotel Manager) One of the greatest person you could ever meet and he really makes a huge difference to this hotel and is a true asset to Barut. - Burçin Karademir (Reception manager) Fantastic person with great customer service skills and always willing to help you. - Ümmü Şirket (Reception Staff) Greatly lady always smiling - i could give her a cuddle every time we speak. - ⁠Joakin (catering Manager) Excellent Guy - ⁠Ahmet (from beach bar) Ahmet has always made our visit to the beach bar very special. - ⁠Ramzan (Buffet Restaurant Staff) fantastic worker and always remembers what drinks you would like the following day. - ⁠Stella (Pool Bar staff) Great Service and customer service - ⁠Danaia (Mini Club) Danaia has known our daughter since she was 18 months old and now our daughter is 9 years old and honestly she has been like a 2nd Mum to our Child) The rest of the mini club staff are also Amazing but Danaia is special to us, our family and child. - ⁠Ozge (Mini Club) - ⁠minos (Mini Club) - ⁠Fatos (Mini Club) We will absolutely return, and we recommend it to everyone—families especially, because they truly understand what makes a perfect holiday for both parents and children! Barut Hemera sets the gold standard for hospitality! and without a doubt is the best hotel we have every stayed in. Amazing hotel, it's honestly value for money. The facilities are on point from coming down the driveway all the way through to it's private beach area, everything is pristine so clean and very well looked after. The reception team were very welcoming on arrival taking care of everything we needed from the start. The staff throughout the hotel from management down were so polite all acknowledged you and took the time to speak with you, honestly they couldn't be better customer service is impeccable at this hotel. There's plenty to keep you busy, activities throughout the day or a nice stroll down the front into the town, the beach is right next to the hotel the location is great which is matched by the hotels atmosphere, the different areas it has from the numerous pools to the bars the coffee shop you can relax quietly or the main pool area is a little more upbeat. We will be back here again in June 2027 and already looking forward to it's beautiful grounds and amazing staff.

The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and lush with greenery. Check-in and check-out are flawlessly organized, and the pre-arrival communication was easy. You start relaxing from the very first minute you arrive, as the staff takes care of everything. Thanks to Carolina. I was traveling with an elderly disabled relative who has special dietary needs. The hotel kitchen kindly pureed all her food, doing so with tact, speed, and efficiency and it never once felt like a burden to them. Thanks to sous chef Hasan, and Nurcihan and Yul from guess relations (my apologies if the names are spelled incorrectly). The buffet features all necessary information about every dish and its ingredients, and the whole setup is well organized. Every single dish I tried was delicious, and all the cocktails I ordered at the bars were fantastic. The atmosphere at the main pool is lively and fun. The 16+ pool area somehow creates the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere and is very quiet. The hotel grounds are spacious and well-zoned, allowing families with children, senior travelers, and couples seeking a romantic atmosphere to relax without disturbing one another. You can request a lot for your comfort in the room for free: a pillow menu, a specific room fragrance after housekeeping, a shower mat, etc. The hotel goes above and beyond to maintain impeccable cleanliness in both the rooms and public areas. For instance, in the restaurant they disinfect the tables and cutlery mats after every guest, and on the beach they disinfect the foot-washing stations. The SPA area is breathtakingly beautiful, looking just like a movie set, and comfortable. In the evenings, they put on lively shows featuring music, dancing, and little cultural introductions. There is also the option to enjoy live music in the bar.

Absolutely loved this hotel and experience. The staff in the kids club, were like no other. So lovely and made the experience so special for my children. The pool and slides were great and shut during the peak times for the extreme bit which was great as you loose track of hours. Food was great. The evening entertainment was great, including the kids disco. The productions were top notch and we came away feeling happy with the evening every night. The let down for us was the room. As a family of 5 there was no room to have the children, pram and luggage and the rooms slightly dated but other than that. I would highly recommend this hotel!

This was our second time at Hemera. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and efficient in everything they do. Sadly though this time round we found the drinks were awful not mixed with love just basically thrown into a glass to get the que down quicker, and the coffee in a morning was awful. All the drinks felt flat no fizz and very sweet. The food was not amazing either in the buffet restaurant, especially breakfast, didn’t see any bacon or poached eggs. These are available at the sister hotel Arum just up the road as we have also stayed there. The olive restaurant serves great pasta, however, the steak we received which was supposed to be fillet looked more like frying steak, this was awful. Turkish and Asian restaurants were amazing. We had a lovely time but because the two main things were not that good we will not be returning.
