Hotel Eftalia Village

Unfortunately, our stay at Eftalia Village was extremely disappointing. Never going back there and Would not RECOMMEND anyone to go there. If I could rate 0 I would have rated that. We booked and paid for specific accommodation, but on arrival we were given a connecting family room with two bedrooms and only one bathroom between them. I had recently undergone major surgery, and the room arrangement was very difficult for me physically and mentally. Another member of our group also has a serious medical condition requiring frequent and sometimes urgent access to a toilet, so sharing one bathroom caused significant problems and distress. The room also had no TV, no telephone, no fridge, no safe, and only one A/C control between the two rooms. Also In two separate occasions I found Lizards in our room. We spent two days asking reception to move us to the room we had actually booked, but unfortunately the staff were rude and dismissive despite us explaining our circumstances. This situation completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday and caused a great deal of stress and distress. I am sharing our experience so other travellers can make an informed decision before booking Eftalia Village , particularly anyone traveling with medical needs

It was a terrible stay.Me and my family had to sleep on chairs with little babies.The food is disgusting and there was a terrible stench coming from the shower when we turned it on.Wouldnt recommend.

Family of 7 Honestly I wanted to cry when we were shown our rooms! Absolutely disgusting booked two family rooms which both on the 3rd floor no lift. Travelling with kids and an elderly mum. Tried a night and woke up with bites all over paid an extra £600 to be moved to Eftalia Sol. If you can get out of it please do! If you have already paid. Hold some money and know you will need an upgrade!

We have been to Turkey a few times now with the family and have always had some amazing experiences. Last year, we stayed in Marmaris for similar money and had a fantastic holiday, so unfortunately this hotel didn’t quite live up to our expectations. Arrival & Room We arrived late at night and the first thing reception told us was that our room was small and “not very good”, but that we could upgrade for an extra charge. We had booked a double/twin room, so I expected the original room we had paid for to be perfectly adequate. After speaking to other families, it seemed that a lot of people were being given the smaller rooms, while the better rooms were being offered to guests who were willing to pay extra. Our room contained a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed with a very hard and uncomfortable mattress. In the end, we pushed the two beds together and slept cramped up for the rest of our stay. Trying to explain that we had specifically booked a twin/double room felt like hitting a brick wall. Sunbeds & Pools If you want a sunbed, be prepared for the early-morning sunbed wars! People start reserving them from around 6am, and by 8:30am you can really struggle to find one. The slides inside the hotel were great fun and very entertaining, especially for the kids. The pools do get extremely crowded when the slides close. During our stay, the pool was also closed a number of times because of accidents involving children and things being found in the water, including poo and glass. Obviously, this isn’t really the hotel’s fault as the resort is heavily geared towards families and accidents do happen. If you want to use one of the shaded pods around the pool, however, this comes at an additional cost. Food & Drinks With no à la cart on site The food itself was quite repetitive. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals, fruit, bread and salads, but I mainly lived on eggs and omelettes. Orange juice is also an additional charge, which I found disappointing considering this was advertised as an all-inclusive holiday. In the evenings, there was a reasonable selection of food, but again it became repetitive after a while. Evening Entertainment & Drinks The entertainment wasn’t too bad and was pretty standard for an all-inclusive resort, with bingo, karaoke and dance shows. The bar included beer, wine, rum, brandy, gin and vodka. However, if you wanted cocktails or certain other drinks, these came at an additional cost. Trips One of the highlights of the holiday was the trips we booked. We would definitely recommend the Legend Big Kral boat trip and the Jeep Safari. We booked our trips through Carl at Tony Montana’s, and he was brilliant. Unfortunately, our whole family caught a 24-hour sickness bug, but Carl was really helpful and rearranged our trip for another day without any problems. Great customer service from him. Overall Experience We made the best of our holiday and came away having made some great friends, which definitely helped make the experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately, though, we felt the hotel was lacking in the little details that make you want to return. The constant issues around rooms, food, drinks and the daily sunbed battles took away from what could have been a much better holiday. For the money we paid, we genuinely feel you can get a much better all-inclusive experience elsewhere in Turkey. We always try to look for the positives when we’re on holiday, and we certainly made the most of our time here, but based on our experience, we wouldn’t return.

We had a lovely holiday. The food was varied unless you just want to eat typical British food. The room was clean enough and spacious. Ther were also themed nights where they had traditional food and we had sushi every night we were there. The pools were good, though the sunlougers were a bit hard to come by The entertainment of an evening was good both at the hotel and on the island. There was a bug going around but it was fairly short lived and there were many in the communal areas with poor hand hygiene. The 2 people in my party of 3 who got ill recovered in less than 24 hours though they stayed in the room. The hotel staff were doing their best to clean when we were there. It is a busy place with buffet food Didn't really have much to do with the staff but they seemed fine It was a lovely place for a family holiday We booked our trips with Tony Montana and both were great fun
