Hotel Eftalia Village

Omg where do I start this place was amazing we are already checking out for booking next year. Eftalia village was so good for me and my 3 children age 18 14 and 4. The staff where amazing very accommodating for everything. The food was gorgeous entertainment was spot on for all. The place was so safe so therefore I relaxed right away. I really wish we had of booked on for longer we where very sad leaving this place that's why we are booking again next year. The only thing I will say that they could change is the tv channels as I like to watch a wee bit of tv before bed there was no English channels. Thank you eftalia village for the best family holiday. We stayed at Eftalia Village as a family of four (two adults and two children) and unfortunately it was one of the worst holiday experiences we have ever had. The situation became so bad that we checked out after just two days and paid for alternative accommodation elsewhere. The problems started at check-in when staff attempted to charge us an inflated amount for a room upgrade. We were told we could not pay in euros and were instead quoted a much higher price in pounds sterling. Only after challenging this did they relent, allowing us to pay in euros and saving us approximately £60 compared to what they were initially trying to charge. The room itself was far from acceptable. Cleanliness standards were extremely poor, particularly the floors. Walking barefoot around the room resulted in my feet becoming so dirty that I was regularly peeling off around a centimetre of grime. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. The food was also very disappointing. Despite being advertised as an all-inclusive resort, we found that many basic items were excluded. Even something as simple as orange juice at breakfast came with an additional charge. The quality and variety of the food did not meet our expectations for an all-inclusive family holiday. The on-site shopping area was another major disappointment. The numerous shops seemed focused solely on extracting as much money as possible from guests. We purchased a faulty item and, when we attempted to resolve the issue, staff refused to help. The situation escalated to the point where I was physically pushed away rather than being offered any form of customer service. The area surrounding the hotel offered very little. Whenever we ventured outside the resort, we were repeatedly approached by shopkeepers trying aggressively to get us into their stores. The constant pressure and harassment made what should have been relaxing walks feel uncomfortable and intimidating. For families, it is important to note that many of the children’s activities came with additional charges, and these were often expensive. Given the all-inclusive branding, we expected far more to be included. The atmosphere around the hotel was also disappointing. There was frequent shouting around the pool areas, and we regularly witnessed disruptive behaviour from other guests. Smoking was commonplace, and there were occasions where the smell of cannabis was noticeable, which is not the family-friendly environment we were expecting. Overall, our experience at Eftalia Village was extremely poor. Between the cleanliness issues, disappointing food, additional charges, aggressive sales tactics, and unpleasant atmosphere, we felt the hotel offered very poor value for money. We were relieved to leave after two days and would not consider returning or recommending it to other families. The only positive would be that the pools were really good with good slides for the children.

Location is at least 1.5-2 hrs from airport. Rooms well where do I start, very out dated plaster off the walls and just painted over, the bathroom doors looked as though they had been flooded with water ingress in the door. The beds were hard so asked for a mattress topper got sent a blanket to put on mattress, also hard pillows. The rooms are very out dated, 1 drawer plus the small bedside drawer between the beds. Food was very repetitive and cold, no matter what time you went to the dining room, only 1 toaster for the whole dining area. The Bar, the beer was ok, if you wanted a short they were limited only 3 or 4, watered down and tasted awful and perfumey. If you wanted a normal short they was 9 euro. Staff there forever walking around trying to sell you cocktails at 10 euros each. Entertainment was ok. Children there got 15 mins a night. The Island was great for teenagers, you got lovely food there and it was fresh and hot. So I would not recommend the resort for couples or older people, ok for kids. Will most definitely not go there again. Got there Saturday and spent Sunday looking for flights home.

On our second night here at Eftalia. Entertainment for the kids is great. Keeping them busy and active. 😆. They sleep well. We so far are having a great time as family of 6, 2 adults, 4 kids. Always something for them to do.

Very good hotel , very clean and tidy. Staff were very kind and lovely to everyone in the hotel, views from the hotel are very pretty and burak was very kind to me and my family and anything that we needed help with he helped us very good experience!
