Terrace Elite Resort Side Hello everyone. I stayed at this resort in August. It’s a very good place—spacious rooms and daily cleaning. The food suits various tastes; there is plenty to choose from, so you certainly won't go hungry unless you are extremely picky. I want to highlight the hotel staff; they were very friendly, cheerful, and genuinely helpful. One morning, I left my mobile phone in the lobby while heading to the beach. With the help of the guest relations staff, I retrieved it from reception after they verified it was indeed ours. On another day, I also recovered my Samsung earbuds, which I had left on a table in the restaurant. The staff is attentive to guests, and I would recommend the place. One negative aspect: sunbeds at the pool get "reserved" with towels, yet sometimes no one is actually there. Perhaps this issue should be monitored. However, I had an unpleasant experience with a certain Mr. Hakan, the night manager. This man displays an aggressive attitude and behaves inappropriately toward tourists, especially considering his position. In short, he rudely reprimanded us for how we were sitting on the lobby sofas—we were sitting with our legs stretched out, without making a mess or anything of the sort. "It's for sitting only, not sleeping," he said. Yet, strangely enough, further along, there were other people lying completely flat on the sofas. I didn't understand the distinction. Rules are rules—fair enough—but I’ve stayed at other resorts and visited Turkey seven times, and I’ve never encountered a situation like this at a 5-star resort. It might be worth this night manager reconsidering his attitude toward tourists. Given his position, I am sure he has plenty of subordinates to warn tourists about certain issues, rather than acting like a tyrant himself. That is why I am giving only 4 stars. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

Terrace Elite Resort – Honest Review We’ve just returned home from a stay at the Terrace Elite Resort, and I wanted to share a completely honest, unbiased account of our experience there. First, to set expectations: at best, this hotel is a 3-star property — and that wouldn’t necessarily be a problem if it were run well. Unfortunately, our stay fell short in multiple key areas. Service & Language Barrier The biggest letdown was the near-total lack of customer service. The hotel appears to cater primarily to German and Turkish guests; very little English is spoken across most areas of the resort. While language differences are understandable, the general attitude from most staff felt unfriendly and unhelpful from the moment we arrived. That said, two staff members stood out as truly excellent: Jasuber and Mahir. Despite having only limited English, they were always welcoming, polite, and made an effort to greet us every day — a warmth that was sadly rare elsewhere. Entertainment & Kids’ Facilities The evening entertainment was extremely repetitive — the same music, games, and style of show rolled around night after night, with very little variety. It quickly felt stale and unexciting. Worse still, there is absolutely nothing for older children. The kids’ club is only suitable for younger ones — it’s designed for ages roughly 4–12 — and there are no activities, clubs, or spaces for anyone over 12. If you have teenagers, they will be completely overlooked and likely bored throughout your stay. It’s a real gap for a hotel that markets itself as family-friendly. Pool & Beach Areas The pool area is severely undersupplied with sun loungers. We regularly had to reserve beds by 6:30am just to guarantee a spot after breakfast. The space feels cramped, is constantly noisy, and cigarette smoke hangs heavy in the air throughout the day — making it an unpleasant place to relax much of the time. We ended up spending more time at the beach instead, which was better, but even there many of the sun beds are broken or in poor condition. Food & Dining The food was easily the most disappointing part of our stay. Menus were extremely repetitive, and dishes were never labelled — so you often had no idea what you were being served. The “themed nights” felt like an afterthought: Asian Night featured mostly pasta, which then reappeared on Turkish Night too. Chicken dishes from International Night would simply be served again the next evening. For much of our trip, breakfast consisted of little more than bread, jam, and melon — and lunch was equally limited. In all my years of travelling, this is easily the worst dining offering I’ve encountered. There was also no portion control whatsoever; we saw shocking amounts of food wasted and left uneaten on tables, which seemed to be accepted as normal here. Spa & Additional Services We booked a Turkish bath and spa treatment during our stay. Disappointingly, the spa manager asked us every single day if it was our first visit and repeatedly tried to sell us extra packages — even on days we’d already booked and spoken with him previously. It felt impersonal and purely sales-driven rather than relaxing. Location & Surroundings The resort is quite isolated and far from local amenities or attractions. You’ll need to take a taxi for absolutely everything — there’s no walking to shops, restaurants, or sights. Overall Thoughts As a family, we made the most of our time away and created our own happy memories together — but that was in spite of the hotel, not because of it. Having enjoyed wonderful holidays in Turkey in the past, our experience here has unfortunately put us off returning for the foreseeable future. If you’re considering booking here — especially with or without kids I’d urge you to think very carefully before spending your money and precious holiday time here

This hotel was very hit and miss for us. We ate out numerous times and the food was very repetitive and not always labelled to what things were. Entertainment staff were ok; not much for teenagers to do and they were not allowed to join in adult pool games which seemed ridiculous. Evening entertainment was rubbish and didn’t start until 10pm! Some staff were rude and no pushy. Pool was nice apart from a few nasty Dutch people who were aggressively towards my son because the parasol blew in the wind. Also lots of fights around the pool whilst we were there which again you don’t expect to see at a 4* hotel. Room was disappointing with no view apart from dusty road and generator; I was told no family rooms have view so we couldn’t sit on balcony at all. We also every day had to ask for extra towels as they only left 3 and we were a family of 4x Overall disappointed with our first trip to Turkey; I may come back to the area; but certainly not this hotel.
