Do not attend if you are British. The staff are so rude cannot speak English. Food is very bland and repetitive we also highlighted concerns whilst at the hotel none of them were taken on board, they did not care. We had concerns about people being ill in the hotel to be told ‘nothing they was aware off and all food is checked’. However we found out through reviews on here that there was families who had caught gastroenteritis whilst at the hotel; therefore that was a lie. Another review I have read stated that a family was threatened with security so was we!! We felt unsafe and scared by the staff! They are horrible at front desk and I would not recommend any British family to attend it does not make you feel like it is a family orientated resort. Very loud music until early hours of the morning also! It is very disappointing as the hotel its self is beautifully designed. Very clean and entertainment team are great!

the atmosphere was amazing,the room was very nice but one slight little disappointment was that my little brother wasnt allowed in the big pool but after begging the lifeguards they allowed him for a hour yesterday and an another hour today because today is our last day here at Lago Hotel,but everything else was amazing!

Overall had a lovely stay at this amazing hotel however areas of the hotel were under staffed and unnecessary pressure put on them with queues at popular points ie coffee station. When we arrived as a large family group we were told our rooms were unavailable. Having travelled all day this was totally unacceptable and caused again friction. Alternative rooms were offered for the night and some members were relocated the following morning. In house hairdressers were used and we found their prices changed after treatment. A special shoutout to Ahmed and Evra who were always friendly, welcoming and polite. If a few issues are taken seriously and improved we would definitely recommend and book this hotel in the future.

We had an overall lovely stay at the hotel. The property was beautiful, in a great location to shops and bars, it was clean and well maintained, and there were several members of staff who really made our experience special. A particular mention must go to Ahmed in the lobby bar, who was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. Evra from Guest Relations was also brilliant and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. There were, however, a couple of disappointments. At times there were low numbers of staff at the bars, particularly during busier times. This meant that service could be quite slow and staff were put under unecessary stress due to the demand and queues from hotel guests. We were also extremely disappointed when we first arrived. As a large family group, we were told that our booked rooms were unavailable because the hotel was overbooked. As a result, family groups and couples had to be merged together into a villa and a suite. This was particularly frustrating after travelling and arriving expecting our allocated rooms, and it really put a dampener on the start of our holiday. Despite this, the hotel itself was lovely, and the staff members who looked after us personally were fantastic. With better staffing at the bars and, importantly, better management of room availability and overbooking, this could have been an outstanding stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would like to return, but we hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.
