We feel wonderful this hotel and we recommend everybody its very good choice the rooms are very comfartable service its very good and and thank you all of the hotel especially seyda she is very good workers

We’ve just returned from a 10-night stay at the Royal Seginus, travelling as two adults and two teenagers. Overall, we enjoyed parts of our holiday, particularly the room and pool areas, but unfortunately there were enough negatives that we wouldn’t return. The room: We booked a duplex family room and were really impressed with the size. The teenagers had their own space downstairs while my wife and I had the upstairs area, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We also paid extra for a sea view, which was definitely worth it — the view was fantastic. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was disappointing. Most days it seemed to amount to making the beds, with towels sometimes not being replaced for two or three days. We were also surprised that there were no bathrobes in the room, something we would expect from a 5-star resort. Pools: The pool area is probably the highlight of the hotel. The pools are absolutely massive and the temperature was perfect — warm enough to be comfortable but still refreshing. That said, the sheer size and number of guests means the pool area can feel very busy. There are pool waiters on roller skates who work extremely hard, but there simply aren’t enough of them. The pool bar in particular became incredibly busy; on one occasion I counted around 95 people waiting for drinks. Main restaurant – the biggest disappointment: Unfortunately, the main restaurant was the worst part of our stay. It was absolute chaos at breakfast and dinner. The food was repetitive and, on occasions, wasn’t particularly hot. You could generally find something to eat, but the overall experience was very poor. Finding a table was often a challenge, and on several occasions we had to sit at a dirty table and wait for it to be cleared, cleaned and reset. You shouldn’t have to hunt around a supposedly 5-star resort looking for a clean table. The restaurant was so chaotic and repetitive that we actually ate out twice during our stay — something we would never normally do when staying at an all-inclusive resort. Snack bar: The snack bar was a completely different experience and was excellent. The food was genuinely good, with a selection of kebabs and a fried chicken option similar to McDonald’s chicken selects. We ended up eating here for lunch on most days rather than going to the main restaurant. The soft-scoop ice cream was also excellent quality. Entertainment: The evening entertainment was, unfortunately, very poor - probably the worst we’ve experienced in Turkey. We walked out of several shows because they simply weren’t very good. The entertainment team didn’t seem particularly interested in interacting with guests unless they were trying to sell bingo cards. There was very little banter or engagement, which was disappointing. Most evenings we ended up playing cards as a family instead. Water slides: The teenagers loved the slides, but I had a serious problem with the Cobra slide. I went down it with my son and fell out of the ring, severely injuring my big toe. This happened on the penultimate day of our holiday and I was still in considerable pain when we left, with plans to have it X-rayed when I got home. I appreciate accidents can happen, but the experience has left me questioning the safety of that particular slide. A couple of incidents that concerned us There were also two incidents during our stay that I feel are worth mentioning. On one occasion, while travelling on a hotel golf buggy to the garden party techno disco, a member of staff stepped into the path and stopped the buggy. What followed was an extremely heated argument between the member of staff and the driver. It became so aggressive that I genuinely thought it was going to turn physical. My 12-year-old son was frightened, and this happened in front of guests on the buggy. It was very uncomfortable to witness. On another evening, my 15-year-old daughter was repeatedly approached and followed by another holidaymaker in the lobby bar who wouldn’t leave her alone, despite her making it clear that she was under 18. She eventually returned to us in tears and frightened. I confronted the man, and from that point onwards I felt I had to accompany my daughter whenever she went to the toilet or moved around the hotel. Lobby bar: We also experienced an issue with broken glass in the lobby bar. A glass had been smashed on the floor around the table where we were sitting, and despite informing three separate members of staff, it remained there for around 30 minutes. With children running around the lobby bar, some of them barefoot, this was particularly concerning. When I eventually raised it with a senior member of staff, I was told, “There are 2,000 guests in here.” I appreciate the hotel is huge and extremely busy, but broken glass around guests’ feet should surely be treated as an immediate safety priority. Wi-Fi and check-out: The Wi-Fi was generally poor throughout the hotel, with the signal regularly dropping in and out. We were also surprised that our Wi-Fi access was removed immediately after checking out. This isn’t particularly helpful when you’re waiting for transport and may need to contact your transfer company. Overall: We did enjoy aspects of our stay. The duplex room was excellent, the sea view was fantastic and the pools were superb. The snack bar was also a real highlight. However, for us, the negatives outweighed the positives. The main restaurant was chaotic, housekeeping was below the standard we’d expect, entertainment was poor, the Wi-Fi was unreliable and some of the incidents we experienced left us genuinely concerned. For the price we paid, we expected considerably more from a 5-star resort. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we wouldn’t return to the Royal Seginus and wouldn’t recommend it.

Great hotel, really friendly and welcoming staff. Shout out fatih

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Royal Seginus. The hotel is advertised as having several à la carte restaurants included, but in practice none were reliably available unless five people each day showed interest!. We received inconsistent, last‑minute messages about openings. On one occasion we agreed to pay €30 when told a restaurant would open, but when we went to pay at 17:00 Guest Relations rudely informed us it was not opening after all. The next day we were told one restaurant would open and had to pay €40 each by 13:00 — the price had inexplicably increased by €10 in less than 24 hours. When I confirmed the booking and explained our children would not be eating, staff said our 7‑ and 12‑year‑old would have to sit at the back of the restaurant by themselves. This is unacceptable for a family hotel. Other major problems during our stay: Safety and hygiene: I witnessed staff members treating injured guests without wearing gloves and no incident details were taken. A Sickness bug going round the hotel and no other precautions were taken, no wonder really when they was never any soap in the restrooms around the pool area! Room cleanliness: thick dust under the bed and a slipper found behind the curtain. 3 year old shampoo in the bathrooms! Leak in the shower that stained our clothes (when i report this i was told it was the marble effect on the wall, it was a plastic wall!) Food and service: long queues at bars and restaurants every day and night; frequent shortages (plastic cups, minibar not replenished) poolside so paper cups were given out; no soap in toilets on multiple occasions; poor drink service during meals and often no cutlery on tables. The Food labeling was missing or incorrect with no information regarding allergies etc. The vegan options were extremely limited. Under staffing and poor management: staff rarely interact with guests; buffet area left understaffed; guests pushing in queues with no staff intervention. Children’s activities and communication: slide restrictions were not communicated so our children lost a full day; entertainment staff rarely engaged children; daily activities are not communicated. All of these issued were reported during our stay and nothing was done! Taken together these issues show the hotel is not operating at the advertised 5‑star standard. The way Guest Relations handled the à la carte bookings — short notice, cancellations and rude communication — was very poor. I would not recommend Royal Seginus for families or anyone expecting reliable service, good hygiene and clear communication. Avoid
