Saint Star Kemer

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. OUR HOLIDAY WAS RUINED. We stayed at Saint Star Hotel in Kemer, and we still cannot understand how a hotel operating under an all-inclusive concept can provide such poor service. The only thing we really cannot complain about was the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything else left an extremely negative impression. I will start with the most disturbing incident: I found a piece of glass in my glass of Coke. This is not simply poor service — it is a potentially dangerous situation. After something like this, it is especially concerning to see such a careless attitude towards service quality. Another major issue was the hotel chef. His behaviour towards guests was completely unacceptable. For example, when girls returned to the hotel at around 4 a.m., he was sitting in the lobby and called them “whores.” We consider such behaviour completely inappropriate towards hotel guests. The same chef also seemed to think that he could decide how much alcohol guests were allowed to drink. Let us remember that this is an all-inclusive hotel. Nevertheless, guests were being told off about the amount of alcohol they were drinking, even though drinks are included in the all-inclusive concept. At the same time, it seemed that the quality of service depended heavily on whether the chef personally liked a particular guest. Girls who showed interest in him received a completely different level of service: bottles of alcohol, nice glasses, food ordered from restaurants and delivered to the beach, and even hookahs. Other guests were left with the standard level of service. This kind of unequal treatment of guests is completely unacceptable. The overall service was extremely poor. Most of the staff were unfriendly, and we rarely felt that anyone genuinely wanted to help the guests. The beach was another major disappointment. It is located quite far from the hotel, so there is a shuttle service. However, it only runs a few times a day. If you miss one of the shuttles, you have to walk for more than 30 minutes in the heat. The beach bar also closes at 4:00 p.m. This means that guests who stay at the beach until 6:00 p.m. cannot get anything from the bar after 4:00 p.m. The food was disappointing as well. The selection was very repetitive, and the menu hardly changed. What was particularly frustrating was that around 40 minutes before the end of breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food was barely replenished. By the end, you are basically left with whatever other guests have not taken. There is therefore very little point in coming towards the end of the meal service. The situation at the beach was no better — the beach bar served basically the same simple fast food every day. We also want to mention the foam party. During the event, the hotel chef sprayed guests with a hose, soaking their clothes and people themselves. As a result, phones, watches and other personal belongings were also soaked. When one guest became upset and confronted him, the situation almost escalated into a physical fight. Instead of calmly resolving the situation with the guest, the chef started shouting at him. Overall, we were left with the impression that only certain guests receive good treatment at this hotel, specifically those who manage to gain the chef’s personal attention. Everyone else gets mediocre food, poor service, unfriendly staff and constant restrictions. We came to Turkey to relax and expected a normal all-inclusive holiday. Instead, we experienced constant disappointment and our holiday was significantly ruined. We absolutely do not recommend Saint Star Hotel. If you are choosing a hotel in Kemer, we strongly recommend reading the reviews carefully and thinking twice before booking. Our stay here was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had.

The only major plus point of this hotel are the rooms. They are modern, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a stay. Unfortunately, the list of positives practically ends there. The food was very monotonous, and the selection was limited, especially when it came to meat. There was also a lack of fruit. After a few days, we were practically eating the same thing every day. The service depended on the person, but I got the impression that Russian guests were clearly favored. Furthermore, most of the staff don't speak English – they mainly communicate in Turkish and Russian, which was a significant inconvenience. The pool and surrounding area were relatively clean, and there were plenty of sunbeds. However, the downside is the shuttle service to the beach – the hotel shuttle only runs three times a day. The hotel's location is quite good, as there are many shops nearby. The evening entertainment was very loud and was almost entirely in Russian, aimed primarily at Russian tourists. The music was similar – despite repeated requests, the DJ played practically no Polish music. If he did, it was for one song, and after that, he'd immediately return to Russian music. The most competent and helpful member of staff was the bartender, Rabia – always smiling and friendly. Another major plus is that the hotel is adults-only, meaning there are no children. Unfortunately, there are many more drawbacks. The restaurant, even in the morning, was often not thoroughly cleaned – you could see dirt on the tables and floor. Food from the snack bar wasn't allowed to be taken to the pool. All drinks, even cocktails, were served in plastic cups, and at the beach bar, even the plates were plastic, which looked very poor for a hotel of this caliber. The biggest problem, however, was the hotel owner. He repeatedly behaved in a very uncomfortable manner towards young women, suggesting meetings in their rooms in exchange for high-end alcoholic drinks. Even locals warned against his intrusive behavior. I also witnessed him spying on guests staying on the ground floor – he would pull back the curtain while the balcony door was open and peek into the room. He also seemed constantly dissatisfied, wandering around the hotel with a nasty expression. There was also an occasion when the manager, without a word, moved our umbrella by the pool, without explaining why. Personally, I will never return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The only positive things I will remember are the modern rooms and the professional service of the bartender, Rabia. Unfortunately, everything else made the stay a major disappointment.

The hotel is in a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It has been renovated and is clean. We stayed in a standard room. The room was spacious and had plenty of wardrobes and storage space for our belongings. Housekeeping was provided daily. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the main pool area, so it was not particularly quiet during the day. Guests who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere should definitely choose a room facing the inner courtyard. The hotel has three swimming pools. Music is played throughout the day around the main pool, while the two smaller pools offer a much quieter and more relaxing environment. The staff were excellent. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and were pleasantly surprised to receive our room immediately. On the day of departure, we had to check out at 12:00 p.m., but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and continue enjoying all the facilities until our evening departure. This was truly wonderful and allowed us to make the most of our last day. Many visitors in Kemer, as well as guests at this hotel, are Russian-speaking. As a result, both the hotel staff and many service providers throughout the city speak Russian. For me, this was a great advantage and made communication very easy and comfortable. The food is simple but tasty, and I am sure nobody will go hungry. The beach is located about 2 km from the hotel and can be reached conveniently by the hotel's shuttle bus. There is also a beach bar where you can enjoy burgers, fries, fruit, and drinks. I spent a lot of time researching and carefully choosing a hotel before our trip, and I was not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Kemer. You step out and immediately find plenty of restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. There's a bar on the beach, serving snacks, burgers, fruit, French fries, and beer for lunch. Free internet access is available throughout the hotel and on the beach.

The worst hole I have ever been to! No hot water, no towels, me and wife artived and had to sleep in seperate beds. The shower only cold, it floods all toilet when showering. Beds are hard rooms are dirty, noisy! Sea is not close at all! Food is same nasty stuff every day, this place are only good for Village russian person, me and wife had all inclusive booked here but had to mive out due to unbelievabaly horrible conditions. AVOUD AT ALL COSTS! BTW, WE had to go buy as a towel at 2 oclock at night so we could take a COLD shower after a long flight. Its a disgrace not a hotel!
