Where do I start SHOCKing comes to mind!! I have just returned from a week break with my family and children and this hotel is a total let down and not worthy of the 5 star rating The hotel is flithy, the room are dirty with mold all over the walls, the showers are dirty and unhygienic, the room arnt cleaned properly by the maid service only the beds made, my shower head broken and was not fixed for the remaining of my trip by maintenance which was reported The corridors floors are so dirty and never cleaned or hovered and very dated the whole hotel is dated and dirty The entertainment is SHOCKING there is none the staff are just lazy in my opinion and just sit around all day not doing there job, then put on a bit karaoke in the evening,the foam party was the only good part The food was ok however you can never find a table because they are not cleaned by the staff as they are understaffed, they do not cater for children at all and they do not label anything for allergy’s which is very tricky The pool was ok and slides my kids did like however there are cups and glasses left everywhere not maintained or cleaned throughout the day by staff, the toilet are filthy and stink of urine even in the ladies and it’s not clean even in the evening which is were the evening entertainment is which is unpleasant Reception staff are rude and unhelpful, this hotel is badly managed, staff are left to do what they want Do not book this hotel is by far not a 5* hotel save your money as your will be disappointed I have stayed in Turkey 3 times now and this is by far the worst and only bad hotel experience I have had I went to a better 3star Spain in June

The hotel service is really bad they aren’t not helpful. You ask them for assistance they don’t have anything available. I stayed over for a week and my room stunk cuz of the toilet and they couldn’t get rid of the smell or change my room. While others have had their room changed because the AC not working or there is damp. They have a clean swimming pool and good food and local markets they do have their own private beach, but their state and service is not 5 stars I’ve been to better hotels and Airbnbs with better service this hotel is a 3 stars by far. You ask them for an iron laundry washing service, they act like they would provide it whoever you ask but they don’t. They also have a paper to fill in and give them info about using the services which they don’t fulfill. I asked for iron repeatedly they said they don’t provide it because of “health and safety” as an adult who wouldn’t know how to use an iron. The carpets are unclean

A Very Disappointing 10-Day Stay – Definitely Not a 5-Star Experience We stayed at Side Crown Serenity from 16 August to 26 August 2026, for 10 days, as a family of two adults and a 6-year-old child. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the experience started badly. The staff at reception were extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. Before we had even properly understood what was happening, wristbands had already been put on our arms. The first impression became even worse when the porter who took our luggage to the hotel returned the tip we had given him. He openly said that it was not enough and that we should give him more. This was an incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant welcome. Unfortunately, things did not improve. I have taken photographs of our room and the corridors, which I will include with this review, because some of the conditions really need to be seen to be believed. No ventilation One of the biggest problems throughout the hotel is the complete lack of ventilation. There appears to be virtually no proper ventilation system in the corridors, lobby areas, bathrooms or toilets. The air feels extremely unpleasant, particularly in the very hot weather. For a hotel accommodating so many people, this is simply not acceptable. Food – quantity does not mean quality At first glance, you may think there is a large choice of food. Unfortunately, this is very misleading. The food is repetitive, extremely poor quality and, in many cases, badly prepared. For 10 days, we genuinely struggled to find something decent to eat. My husband eventually did not even want to go down for breakfast or lunch because the food was so disappointing. We were forced to go out for dinner on several occasions simply because we needed to eat properly. We were on holiday with a 6-year-old child, and the situation was even worse for her. During the days when we stayed in the hotel rather than going out to eat, her lunch and dinner consisted almost exclusively of plain pasta/spaghetti and chips. There was practically nothing suitable or properly prepared for children. For a family hotel, this is extremely disappointing. Restaurant / dining hall – very poor hygiene I would not even describe the main restaurant as a proper restaurant. It feels more like a large dining hall. The hygiene standards were extremely poor. Tables, tablecloths, cutlery, glasses and other areas were visibly dirty. The overall cleanliness was nowhere near what we would expect from a hotel advertised as 5-star. The dining environment was unpleasant and, frankly, made us uncomfortable eating there. Swimming pools – cloudy and visibly dirty The swimming pools were another major concern. The water was visibly cloudy and dirty, and this was not something you needed special equipment to notice. You could see it with your own eyes. The pool did not even have the usual smell associated with properly treated and maintained swimming-pool water, which made us seriously question how well the water was being maintained and filtered. There was a lifeguard around the water-slide pool, but he was often hidden behind a small wooden structure among the bushes, making him difficult to see. At the other pools, there appeared to be no proper lifeguard supervision. For a hotel full of families and children, this is extremely concerning. Dangerous areas around the pools The areas around the pools were also dangerous. There were broken tiles, extremely slippery surfaces and areas that appeared poorly maintained. The toilets around the hotel were also very dirty and poorly maintained, and the floors were frequently wet and slippery. We saw very little evidence of staff regularly drying or properly maintaining these areas. With so many children using the pools, I find the lack of attention to basic safety particularly worrying. Pool bar The pool bar was another disappointment. The food selection was extremely limited. The main option seemed to be burgers, often served with dried-looking tomatoes and lettuce. The drinks were also very poor quality. Unfortunately, the attitude of some members of staff at the pool bar was again rude and unhelpful, which only added to the overall negative experience. Overall We came to Turkey hoping to have a relaxing family holiday. Instead, for much of our 10-day stay, we were dealing with poor food, poor hygiene, visibly dirty pool water, inadequate maintenance, slippery and broken areas, limited children’s food and unfriendly service. The hotel may have attractive photographs and a good rating online, but our actual experience did not come close to what we would expect from a 5-star hotel. We have travelled to many places and stayed in different types of accommodation, and unfortunately this is an experience we would not want to repeat. We are sharing photographs with this review because we believe potential guests should be able to see the conditions for themselves before booking. For us, this was absolutely not a 5-star experience, and we would not recommend this hotel to families looking for a clean, safe and high-quality holiday. There is one more thing I believe potential guests should know. I also wrote a detailed review in the hotel’s Facebook group, based entirely on my own experience and the photographs I personally took during our stay. I shared the same concerns and conditions that I have described here. I was immediately blocked from the group after posting my review. This is extremely disappointing. Rather than allowing guests to share their genuine experiences, including negative experiences, it appears that criticism is simply removed and the person sharing it is blocked.

Honestly I don’t even know where to start. Initially when arriving here everything was okay, pretty enough hotel, nice shops and staff seemed alright initially. We get to our rooms and they look a bit run down but I thought “oh well” the next day I wake up to an awful smell coming from my bathroom which I reported immediately. The cleaners came in and sprayed it with air freshener rather than actually figuring out the problem. Throughout the week I reported the smell 4 more times and nothing was done. Through the 7 days I was here my bedding wasn’t changed once and neither were the towels. The food was mediocre, nothing special, looked pretty though. But there was absolutely no hospitality from the restaurant staff. No greetings, no cleaning our table throughout the meal, nothing. With the waiting staff by the bar they’re okay. Some are nice enough and some are too nice. Making advances on me even after saying I have a boyfriend, constantly asking for my social media even after telling them no. I came here to enjoy my holiday, not to be harassed constantly by men who should be doing their jobs. Half the drinks weren’t on the menu because they didn’t have them in stock, and realistically the main attraction for all inclusive for adults is the alcohol, so it was very disappointing. By the 5th day I was ready to go home. Personally I wouldn’t recommend especially considering the price.

I must admit I was very worried when I read all the reviews as they seemed very negative So I will give you an honest review Negative Absolutely no entertainment at all from the animation team apart from a very strange 2 min dance on the bridge by the pool every day !! So if you’re looking for family entertainment then this isn’t the place. The à la carte restaurants well there wasn’t any as stated. The buffet restaurant was absolutely fine we always found something to eat breakfast and lunch were better than dinner. If you have picky eaters then you might struggle. Snack bar was average. The hotel I say was very European and I would say as English we were very outnumbered but this didn’t bother us at all. Rooms were very spacious, drinks in the fridge every day but unfortunately both of our rooms they didn’t work so no cold drink. Positives Swimming pool and allowed were great and no bother getting a sunbed evey day. Plenty of places to sit on n evening. Beach shuttle every 15 mins free and also lunch and drinks are all inclusive as well Just outside the hotel there are buses to Side which is absolutely beautiful, 2.50 euro pp 5 min walk and there is a huge market/shopping area. We had a lovely week away there and most of the staff were really friendly, some of the shop owners were very pushy. Good price for what you got definitely not 5* I probably wouldn’t return to this hotel.
