Side Crown Serenity

Pros: Food was nice and a good variety to choose from. Good location to Side Old Town. Waiter/Bar staff (hard workers) excellent, although extremely overworked! Cons: To start off with, the reception staff were very rude and not helpful at all. When we arrived, we disputed our booking/rooms. We were told it wasn’t their problem and to speak to our (non-existent) rep. A few days later I went to ask a question about entertainment. After waiting 5 mins being ignored by the reception staff, I called one over (politely), who looked me up and down and asked quite abruptly - “yes?”. Again, my query was not answered so had to work it out myself! The 2 bars were only manned by 1-2 young staff at any time making queuing for drinks ridiculously and mind-numbingly long! Entertainment – What entertainment!?!? Entertainment staff non-existent and there was NO interaction with customers. Even the “head” entertainment man walked around staring at his phone and didn’t even look up to say hello. No evening entertainment apart from kids disco which lasted about 10 minutes, and bingo done in the pitch black!!! Water Slides – only 3 out of the 5 water slides worked at one time! Maintenance/Room - We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling which we reported. A maintenance person came to look and told us it would be fixed the next day. This was never fixed! Our parents were taking belongings (their passports and valuable jewellery) from their “safe” when the said “safe” came completely free as it wasn’t even bolted/fixed to any part of the wardrobe! Also added to this their room door never shut from the outside. No Point in asking reception to help! Save your money and go somewhere else!

Having a fantastic time at the Crown Serenity, I would like to say a massive thanks to Islam as this guy has helped so much and has put faith back into customer service, he isn’t just an employee, we class Islam as a good friend, keep it up Islam, you’re a good ambassador for this hotel, we will defo be back next year!

Our stay at Side Crown Serenity was genuinely excellent. The hotel runs on strong hygiene, good food, and staff who actually care about the guests. Food & Hygiene Food quality is consistently high with plenty of fresh options. Hygiene across the hotel buffet, rooms, pool areas is kept to a very good standard. Pool & Slides Area The pool by the slides is one of the hotel’s strongest points: clean, well‑kept surroundings, and staff who stay alert. Atmosphere The overall atmosphere at Side Crown Serenity is relaxed but lively the kind of place where families, couples, and regulars all settle in quickly. The pool and slide area has a fun, upbeat energy, while the rest of the hotel stays calm, clean, and well‑run. It feels organised rather than chaotic. Rooms The rooms are modern, clean, and well‑maintained, with good air‑con and comfortable beds. Housekeeping keeps everything fresh, and the bathrooms are in better condition than many hotels in this category. It’s not luxury, but it’s solid, functional, and exactly what you want for a stress‑free stay. Special credit to: Yakup Lifeguard, calm, attentive, and keeps the slides area safe without being intrusive. Slide Area Pool Bar Team, both the barwomen and barmen working here were excellent: fast service, friendly, and they keep the place running smoothly even when it’s busy. Snack Bar The Waffle Lady in the Snack Bar deserves a mention always smiling, great with kids, and keeps the queue moving without stress. Mini Club & Kids Animation The Mini Club lady was warm, patient, and brilliant with our 8‑year‑old. The kids’ animation itself is basic and could use more structure, but the staff make up for it with genuine effort. Nurse A special thank you to the hotel nurse who helped our daughter when she had a small accident. Quick, gentle, and professional exactly what you want in that moment. Reception Özgür at reception is a standout — efficient, helpful, and actually solves problems instead of just nodding. Overall Side Crown Serenity delivers: - Excellent staff across all departments - Clean, modern facilities - Good food and strong hygiene - Great pool and slide area - Supportive kids’ staff and a reliable nurse Kids’ animation could be improved, but the people working here elevate the whole experience. Would happily return

Absolutely fantastic, we love this hotel, staff are extremely friendly, room is probably the best we have ever stayed in, pool is great, as are the food and drinks. Room 1213 is overlooking the pool and gets the sun in the morning which is perfect. Beach is gorgeous, beach bar and snacks are ideal. We recommend this hotel. 5 *
