Had a wonderful stay at trendy Lara with the family. Staff at all very good and helpful, especially Erkan at the sports bar. Would 100% recommend

On a family holiday at Trendy Lara this August, we had a wonderful photo shoot with Ismail and his team. Our photographer was so fantastic with the children; he made them feel at ease. They then spent ages going through them with us and helping us choose from all the excellent photos they had taken. Ismail the manager, I cannot speak more highly of. He wasn’t pushy in any way but polite and friendly with a wonderful sense of humour. The whole team’s patience and kindness was great. Our photos are stunning and the memories we have taken away will stay with us. Huseyin, was great too! I would highly recommend this experience and the animals they have too made it even more worthwhile! There was no pressure at any point, super!!! Please get them to take your photos if you are here, you won’t regret it!

Had an amazing photoshoot at this hotel the pictures were outstanding they were so patient and kind with the children the manager who organised it for us called Ismail was very polite and was not pushy the choice of what you buy was entirely up to you and they were happy to take any combinations of family members! Recommend that you go and speak to them they will make you and your family feel important

We had the most amazing experience having our photoshoot at the hotel, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team. ❤️ Ismail was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was so friendly, incredibly helpful and had such a great sense of humour, which immediately put us all at ease. Most importantly, he made my daughters feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, which really allowed their personalities to come through. All of the staff were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Everyone was incredibly patient and there was absolutely no pressure or pushiness at any point. We were given plenty of time to look through the photos and choose what we loved, which made the whole experience feel really enjoyable rather than rushed. And the animals were such an amazing added factor! They made the experience even more special and gave us some really unique and memorable photos. The pictures are absolutely incredible, and choosing our favourites was honestly so difficult because there were so many beautiful ones! 📸 We’ve come away with gorgeous photographs and, more importantly, memories that we’ll have for life. We’re so grateful to Ismail and the whole team for making it such a special experience I highly recommend to all ❤️

I’ve just returned from a beautiful fortnight at Trendy Lara with my wife and son. First of all, a huge thank‑you to all the staff who work tirelessly to make your stay special. This is noticeable from the moment you arrive — the hotel is spotless throughout, and the customer service is excellent. The same high standards apply to the beach facilities and the boats that ferry you across. Hotel Room (1714) Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. The minibar was replenished each day with soft drinks. The beds comfortable, the balcony had a sea view, and we never had any issues with water pressure or temperature when showering, even at peak times. TV channels included children’s options and sports. Restaurants The main restaurant caters for everyone with plenty of choice. Breakfast is busiest around 8:30–9:30am, and dinner around 7–8pm. Food is available throughout the day, including a great snack bar — the Döner Kebabs were the best. There is a small charge for the à la carte restaurants. We tried: World Cuisine Excellent service and enjoyable meals. I’d suggest adding a simple children’s menu. Sushi Bar Our absolute favourite — fresh sushi made in front of you and absolutely sublime. Éclair Perfect after a hot day by the pool. Huge choice of desserts, great with an iced coffee or Turkish tea. Swimming Pools The pools are warm, clean, and well‑maintained. Staff work hard to keep the pool areas safe and tidy. The foam party is a must — great fun for the whole family. Sunbeds are the main issue. They’re packed in tightly, and if you’re not down by 8:30am, you’ll struggle. Towels get left on beds for hours, which is frustrating. Bring your own inflatables from home and write your name on them — shop prices are high. The towel station was always fully stocked. Suggestion: More steps and clearer entry points into the main pool would help. With the number of sunbeds, people often have to climb over them to get in, which causes a bit of tutting. Glass bottles: Beer should be served in cups rather than bottles — some guests leave bottles on the pool edge, which isn’t safe. Beach We loved the beach — plenty of beds, clean, tidy, and the sea is very warm. Toilets and showers are spotless, drinks are plentiful, and the food is superb. Ice creams were a hit. Crossing to the beach takes around 5–7 minutes, and feeding the fish from the pontoon is a nice touch. Bring sea shoes or flip‑flops — the sand gets extremely hot. Activities There are plenty of activities for all ages. My 9‑year‑old is football‑mad, and we loved using the football pitch in the evenings and playing Boccia. Evening entertainment was very good with lots of variety. Excursions Main Strip We visited one evening. Taxi both ways: €30 / 1800 TL. Not walkable — you can get a bus if you manage to cross the main road. Great for dinner and shopping (especially branded items). Old Town Antalya Taxi from the hotel took around 45 minutes each way. The driver waited about 4 hours while we had dinner and shopped. Total cost: €95 / 5400 TL. Currency Tip Paying in Turkish lira worked out better than euros against GBP, and it supports local businesses. There’s an ATM next to the taxi pick‑up point — we used Revolut with no issues. --- We had a beautiful holiday and are already looking at options for next year. I’d rate Trendy Lara as a very strong 4‑star hotel, and with a few small tweaks it could easily reach 5 stars. --- If you want, I can also create a shorter version, a more formal version, or a review formatted for TripAdvisor.
