Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort

First time at Aruba , it was a great experiance, nearby the sea everything you neef was here, great hotel to be The dinner above the swimmingpool was very good, just like the boys there

Best for location, atmosphere, cleanliness, noise level, dining options and beach proximity. Staff is very courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a whole week in Aruba and stayed in the penthouse suite at Amsterdam Manor. Upon arrival we were greeted by the receptionist and offered fruit punch or water with lemon in it. There was a bell not to help take our suitcases to our room. The hotel has two storeys and does not have an elevator for the upper storey. It wasn't a problem for us but if you had mobility you may want to ask for a room on the ground floor. The suite itself was spacious almost the size of a 1200 square feet apartment and had two bedrooms and walk in showers. The showers didn't have doors on them so you had to spread out a towel outside to keep the floor dry. We didn't cook but used the fridge and microwave every day because the food quantity in Aruba is generous and between the leftovers of breakfast and/or lunch or dinner, we always had a meal we could eat. The service is slow in Aruba and having a meal available to eat at the hotel allowed for some extra time for relaxation. Breakfast was provided by Passions restaurant at the beach and that was the highlight of our trip, eating breakfast at the beach everyday. Breakfast was included and one had 27$ per person to spend and we got to try multiple items off the menu. We also had a candle light dinner at Passions on the beach one night. They also have the Horizon Lounge in the premises and we had dinner there one day. The beach is just a few steps across and everyday after we were done with our sightseeing we spent time at the beach. We had beach beds and umbrellas available for us to use. We also had plenty of beach towels and dropped the towels off near the entrance of the hotel once we came back from the beach. They have a drying rack to dry your swimsuits off which was very much needed. There's plenty of storage and a safe in both rooms. They could do with more hangers though. Housekeeping came and cleaned our room every day. Concierge was very helpful in booking a tour for us at the very last minute and helped us choose a couple of other tours. They also called us a taxi to the airport on departure. The penthouse suite was an amazing choice with amazing views and we loved the privacy it gave us as a couple and allowed our 2 children to have their space to. I definitely recommend Amsterdam Manor wholeheartedly.

A wonderful stay , immediately fell in love with the gorgeous landscape of the property grounds. Front desk Staff was extremely friendly and personable at every encounter. Horizons experience was 10/10 each time the bartending , food , service. Wish they were open earlier as passions is lacking in all aspects really missing the mark. Unfortunately you are left with no option as they are the on beach amenity let down over & over. We actually left and went offsite to obtain lunch 3x and had drinks elsewhere or brought our own. Beach location is the best! The lounger/palapa availability is stress free, however did have to get up at sunrise for beachfront (1st row) the views and peaceful start to each day made it worth it!

Amsterdam Manor was absolutely wonderful, as always! Patrick and Billy greeted us warmly, just as they always do, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our suite was excellent, clean, and well maintained, and Eagle Beach was as breathtaking as ever. I truly believe the stretch of beach directly in front of Amsterdam Manor is one of the best on the island. One area that could use improvement is the beach Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the connection remains unreliable, as it has been for several years. Investing in stronger, more consistent beach Wi-Fi would be a welcome improvement to the overall guest experience. Despite that minor concern, Amsterdam Manor did not disappoint. The hospitality, accommodations, and beautiful beach continue to make it a special place for us. We look forward to returning next year!
