Hotel Lilia

the hotel has been undergoing improvements still some way to go but getting there i had a excellent room , the pool staff were much happier then they used to be and far more friendly food was ok breakfast fine dinner hit and miss value very good its the location that does it on the front short walk to the center beach right there at the price it was very good

This hotel at best is two stars. The food is always warm to cold not hot. If you want it hot you use the microwave. The food options are poor. I went half board thankfully but choose to eat out at night as the first night's dinner was awful and cold. The que for food goes out the door because they have a tiny counter for buffet option. The rooms are basic and does not have a coffee or tea option with a kettle. No safe in the room you have to pay approx 5 euro a night in the lobby where you have a key and the reception has a key. The so called mini bar is a couple of drinks in the fridge that's very expensive. All rooms have a balcony door that has no curtain so everyone can see you, we was on the ground floor. As a result as soon as it's daylight your room is lit up. They put a poxy blackout curtain to the window that is of no use when the door is not covered. It's a major invasion of privacy. The door on the inside has a latch to lock which is just a gimmick as the door has no lock fitted. You are charged 8 euros per person to use the roof top pool which is a bloody cheek. The carpets in the hall way on all floors are crumpled and out dated. I would never stay again it's one of the worst I've been to with my wife for many years.

The recepcionist was very uninterested and unfriendly. We did not feel very welcome when we arrived. We are staying at the second floor and it smells bad in the hallway. The shower is broken, still usable though. Food is of poor quality. The fried fish was dry, the watermelons were warm, deserts are the same too sweet frosting with different packiging. Totally not what we expected of this hotel. One big bottle of water costs 4,6 EURO. That is crazy in my opinion.
