Obzor Beach Resort

We stayed at this hotel towards the end of the season, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Calling this hotel “all-inclusive” is honestly misleading. If we wanted to have more than a few glasses of champagne or wine, the staff would make comments and clearly show their disapproval. The food was a major disappointment. Only on the first day could it somehow be considered all-inclusive, and even then the selection was very poor. During the following seven days, the quality of the food was absolutely terrible. Leftover food from previous days was repeatedly reused and incorporated into new dishes. For example, soup was made from vegetables that had been left out where flies were sitting on them. The cheese would remain on display for days. This was extremely unpleasant and made us question the hygiene standards of the hotel. The beach was also very dirty and poorly maintained. Sun loungers were not included in the price and cost €7 per day, despite being located quite far from the sea. For families with children, there is practically nothing to do. There is no meaningful entertainment or activities for children, which was especially disappointing for us. Overall, this was far from what we expected from an all-inclusive hotel. The food, hygiene, beach conditions and lack of entertainment were all major disappointments. We definitely would not return and cannot recommend this hotel.

Lets say that the location is perfect but the people who come here are horrible. I don’t understand why the staff aren’t doing anything with customers who block the available beach chairs and they aren’t there. To be more precise, each complax has one pool with around 30-40 beach chairs… it doesn’t matter when you go to the pool, around 95% of them are blocked even if is nobody in the pool. TERRIBLE!

The resort is nice you have pool and Beach in one and is excellent for kids But the tropicana restorant is not good with service You come as one of the first guests for lunch and you end up waiting a lot anyway. Drinks Will not arrive on time, half food will arrive after 10min which is nice and the other half will arrive later so family can not eat together at the same time, and it was cold. We waited for 30minutes and canceled the drinks cos we never got them with our food.

Actually, we couldn't really give the maximum rating, because we were first directed to a building where the elevator didn't work and the TV didn't either. If you might not know that the TV worked, then the receptionist should have known that the elevator didn't work. It wasn't even high season, so they couldn't have offered us another room right away. There are little things to complain about, but there are many more positive things. Our rooms (actually both apartments) were very clean. The rooms are spacious. The new apartment we were moved to, had a dream balcony, although the first one was wonderful too. The kitchen is flawless (oh well, the knives in the knife holder in the first apartment were unwashed). A decent fridge, a spacious freezer. Stove and oven. Everything is great. The bed is good, the air conditioning is good, the cleaning ladys are just golden. Yes, this resort is not 4 stars, but a very strong three. As usual, the socket locations are a bit strange, but don't worry. I won't tell you the number of my apartment number two, because I'll go there myself :-) The first one was E102 and had a huge living room, great view. E is also a very quiet building. The in-house shop is very strange. Mostly drinks and snacks. Some very expensive meat products. But decent tomatoes and potatoes. Can not complain about cleanliness or service in this shop but if you are going to cook yourself, take the little walk to Obzor for main products.

We booked this holiday as a 4 star resort. It boasted 4 restaurants, a shuttle bus to town, Evening entertainment and lots more. When we arrived only one restaurant was open, the shuttle bus stopped after the first day, there was no entertainment and the apartment was in need of decoration and quite tatty. We have not had a response from On The Beach
